Kennesaw Dancers Transcend Borders With Performance Rooted in West Africa

Kennesaw State University's Dance Company, located within the College of the Arts, gears up for Sage, a celebration of contemporary dance with international flair to be held Nov. 10-11:

Within the performance is a dance created by Kaolack, a Senegalese choreographer who explores the borders between people, genres and places in his work. He comes to the Kennesaw State during the Year of Senegal, a yearlong celebration of the West African country on campus, complete with a full slate of academic and cultural programs.
