Going to church this morning past cafes full of people who are not troubled (or are they?) with the idea that they should be in church. This man had a seed from God planted in him when he was young. I've heard the voice of God rebuking me and it is very frightening it literally cuts through your heart and mind. Every human is a miracle but we are not grateful but graspers & moaners.
I too have been rebuked, the last time was recently, and I agree. It is terrifying! But take heart! As scripture says, He rebukes those whom He loves. ❤🙏

Ask God to reveal the source of your fear and heal it. Also choose to respond to what He says receive it and choose differently, speak truth of word and act truth. You have to talk to yourself aloud according to the word.

Pray for a lady's while treatments needs to be kindly and more gentle. She rearranged my clothes in my closet while I was om in the house undergoing surgery for a lung tumor. She's snapped at me about having my sheets changed twice. And I have had problems with having my clothes washed. One time after a biopsy which afterwards had voucher; blood up on sheets. She claimed my sheets had been washed the prior week.i day still saw the blood on my sheets.

The man who was going to meet a woman and commit adultery was going to meet a married woman. If he had been going to met an unmarried woman he would have either committed fornication if he didn't keep her, OR taken an additional wife. 2 Sam 12 2 Ch 24:2-3 Mal 3:6 Adultery: H5003 נָאַף nâ'aph naw-af' A primitive root; to commit adultery; figuratively to apostatize: - adulterer (-ess), commit (-ing) adultery, *woman that breaketh wedlock.* Total KJV occurrences: 31 There is not one verse condemning a man for having more than one wife. It is not sinful, evil, wicked, wrong, or even bad. I was quite shocked to initially learn this and then studied it our for myself. I suggest that you do the same. Monogamy only is straight out of Roman culture and law and the Vatican.
No where in the Bible does polygamy work; it leads to more familial problems. Malachi 2:14-16 expresses God’s frustration over adultery, which is a man being unfaithful to his wife. Using common sense, (if you have it) sleeping with multiple “wives” is cheating because you’re not being faithful to one wife. God also didn’t not express his desire for you to go to school and get an education, but we do it anyways because it makes sense. Use your head.

A man with only one wife could stop loving her, stop providing for her needs, or stop protecting her and thus break his covenant (be unfaithful) with her. Mal 2:14-16 is a warning to men whether they have more than one wife or not, to keep their covenant agreement (be faithful) with their wife/wives. Again your assumption is incorrect as your understanding of what "faithful" is, is incorrect. A man is capable of being faithful to more than one woman, just as a woman is capable of loving more than one child. Actually He did: Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. There are numerous other scriptures indicating that it is our responsibility to educate our children. Your attempt to compare education to marriage is rather puzzling as there is no correlation whatsoever between the two. It appears that you are "grasping at straws" in an attempt to support your incorrect conclusions. Also, your ad hominem personal attacks against my "common sense" and "using my brain" only go further to display your desperation to support your false claims. I have spent hundreds of hours researching biblical marriage, and I often come across individuals, like you danny, that have not spent even an hour researching it. Just because people had more than 1 wife in the old testament, that does not mean that is the way God desired it. 1 Timothy 3 show you what an honourable man looks like "If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife..." Or from Jesus himself in Mark 10:6-9. "But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” Showing that from the beginning, man was meant to have 1 wife. Then you have Genesis, the first one to have more than 1 wife (Lamech), we are told is many times worse than even Cain (the first one to murder). Surely if we love God, we want to do the things he says. He only tells us to do something because it is the best way of being (he did create everything after all, so knows how everything works). So obeying him in this, even though it may be hard for you to accept, ultimately will be best for you.

There are a lot of lies going around about him, because the devil doesn't want Christians to know the truth about the power they have inside them (through the holy spirit). When jesus comes back, he will come back to a united church (body of believers). Now that will include people from many different denominations who are united in their love for him. Pray for a lady's while treatments needs to be kindly and more gentle. She rearranged my clothes in my closet while I was om in the house undergoing surgery for a lung tumor. She's snapped at me about having my sheets changed twice. And I have had problems with having my clothes washed. One time after a biopsy which afterwards had voucher; blood up on sheets. She claimed my sheets had been washed the prior week.i day still saw the blood on my sheets.

The man who was going to meet a woman and commit adultery was going to meet a married woman. If he had been going to met an unmarried woman he would have either committed fornication if he didn't keep her, OR taken an additional wife.

There is not one verse condemning a man for having more than one wife. It is not sinful, evil, wicked, wrong, or even bad. I was quite shocked to initially learn this and then studied it our for myself. I suggest that you do the same. Monogamy only is straight out of Roman culture and law and the Vatican.

In fact there were numerous families where a man had more than one wife and they worked out just fine. There are approximately 40 men mentioned in the scriptures that had more than one wife. Only in a few instances are we told of problems they had in their families. Are you unaware that not every family is a "Leave it to Beaver" family? Has your family never had any problems or disagreements?
Let us consider where a man did not have more than one wife: Ahab & Jezebel - Ananias & Sapphira - etc... Many of the most wicked and evil people mentioned in scriptures were one man and one wife. So be careful, those that live in glass houses should not throw stones.
It is our sin nature that causes problems, not our martial status. Are you aware that jealousy is a demonic spirit? This spirit is often at the root of any problems in a relationship whether there is one or more wives. Deal with that spirit and most problems are solved.

Mal 2:14-16 pertains to the marriage covenant and a man being unfaithful to keep his agreement with her. This is completely unrelated to polygyny. A man with only one wife could stop loving her, stop providing for her needs, or stop protecting her and thus break his covenant (be unfaithful) with her. Mal 2:14-16 is a warning to men whether they have more than one wife or not, to keep their covenant agreement (be faithful) with their wife/wives.

"common sense" as your perceive it may be what is commonly believed, but that does not necessarily make it true. A man is capable of being faithful to more than one woman, just as a woman is capable of loving more than one child.

There are numerous other scriptures indicating that it is our responsibility to educate our children. Your attempt to compare education to marriage is rather puzzling as there is no correlation whatsoever between the two. It appears that you are "grasping at straws" in an attempt to support your incorrect conclusions. Just because people had more than 1 wife in the old testament, that does not mean that is the way God desired it.
1 Timothy 3 show you what an honourable man looks like "If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife..." Or from Jesus himself in Mark 10:6-9. "But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” Showing that from the beginning, man was meant to have 1 wife. Then you have Genesis, the first one to have more than 1 wife (Lamech), we are told is many times worse than even Cain (the first one to murder).
Surely if we love God, we want to do the things he says. He only tells us to do something because it is the best way of being (he did create everything after all, so knows how everything works). So obeying him in this, even though it may be hard for you to accept, ultimately will be best for you.

If these translations are accurate, men aspiring to hold specific positions in the church are commanded to be the husband of “one wife”. This leads to two logical conclusions:
1) Polygyny was common at the time or there would be no need for any such command.
2) It is not sinful for a man to have more than one wife nor is it prohibited unless he desires to be an Elder, Deacon, or Bishop of the church.

The most cohesive rendering of 1 Tim 3:2, 3:12, and Tit 1:6 regarding “mia” is as an expression of unity rather than quantity. The early Hebrew translations of Timothy used “Echad” here, which is the same word as in Deuteronomy when ‘the Lord your God is One God’. The Septuagint shows that Mia is the translation of Echad in that Mia is the word used for Echad in the Septuagint in all but one place.
That said, no sound Christian theology says God is quantitatively one; this passage is an expression of the unity in God. That said then, this passage is rendered “A bishop must be blameless, in proper unity with his “gune” (wife/wives - woman/women as the case may be), vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach, not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous. One that rules his own house well, having his children in subjection with all gravity. For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?
Read like that everything relates to personal and family character. You can, after all, tell when someone is not in harmony with his wife, and such a condition of family makes it hard for such a man to lead anywhere else. It’s a valid rendering of the passage based on word usage, and it makes more sense than saying this passage deals with polygyny. Saying these few verses were a ban on polygyny is nonsense, to think that Paul was trying to establish a new law in passing without explaining why or making any formal discussion of it would be completely out of character for Paul as well as the Holy Spirit that inspired all scripture.
Further, since gune (wife) is like the English word sheep (in that you can’t tell if it’s singular or plural when it is standalone) the fact that in English this passage is translated as wife not wives is irrelevant.
The most basic and natural translation would simply require that an Elder, Bishop, or Deacon be married not indicating a limitation.
