So, for this non-gardening person, what was the plan with the chestnuts? How many were in the bucket? Are you going to go to a steel bucket next time? What model of mower do you have coming? Luba 2?

I was trying to get the Chestnuts to germinate so I can grow more trees. The American Chestnut was mostly wiped out from a Blight. Check out this playlist:The American Chestnut Tree

7,000 Subs?! Woot! The property has come a long way over the years, LE. I can't believe those squirrels chewed through that bucket lid for a few chestnuts. I was looking forward to seeing if you could get those things to sprout/survive this year.

Thanks! Yes, it’s pretty amazing looking back at my early videos and see all the projects I’ve done. But yet it’s seems like it’s gone by in a flash.
Thanks for being an early supporter and sticking with me. I am pretty frustrated with the chestnuts 🌰.

Is that gray rock in your flowerbeds from the Dresser quarry? I have used quite a bit of that as well. I heard they might be running low soon.

Yes, the rock is from the Dresser quarry thru Faulks Bros. I had not heard that the quarry is running out, but that might help explain why the price has gone up so much. Thanks for checking in!
