The phrase of Bayek on the beach still to this day echoes in my mind: "egypt has fallen, greece also and Rome will fall too". I was certained that it would be Bayek/Aya trilogy. Ubi had it all to do execute it, a great protagonist, great time period (the rise of the roman empire), the fan's interest, but no, lets ignore the brotherhood's origin history for the rest of the sequels
YES this is pitch-perfect. I’m impressed by the motherhood motif of this trilogy that not only highlights its role within family but also makes it truly feel like a story worth telling through the medium of Assassins Creed.
Beautiful. Takes me back to the ezio trilogy and why everyone loved him and those 3 games. Devs took a leap of faith with ezio after AC2 and started sequels which gave the character such depth. Truth is, investors have taken over and dont give a toss about video games whatsoever. They want to spend less and earn more. The easiest possible route to that will be seen taken in the coming assassins creed games as well. So sad. Such a waste of a beloved franchise.
If I remember correctly the original Leak of Origins mentioned that Ubisoft wanted another trilogy (a la Ezio) with the first Game set in Egypt, the Second in Greece and Probably the Third in Rome. Anyway great video
It would of been dope to see Brutus gain his armor that we get in brotherhood and play as him in the assassination of Ceaser and it’s crazy how bayek didn’t react to isu tech like any other ac protagonist,
No, it may not be perfect, but the setup for your trilogy is great. However with Cesar being dead in Origins, I think a good replacement would be Mark Antony and Cleopatra. It’s also interesting that Brutus in history eventually fled to Greece, so maybe that could be a good reason for Aya to follow him to Greece.
I wish they would have done it like this: 1. Origins as it is 2. AC in Rome where Aya sets up the Brotherhood there 3. AC in Germania about 20 years later where Aya and Bayek fight of the Roman invasion together setting up a brotherhood in cologne as mentors getting reunited again and explaining how they got buried together in egypt I think this trilogy would have completed the arcs of both characters while visiting many different locations: Ancient Rome would have been similar to Odysseys acient greece and old germania would have resembled Valhallas England because in Valhalla old roman cities are heavily emphasized Also the historical context would have been very interesting and would match the whole theme of the trilogy. Ubisoft really missed out…
I like this for the most part only things I would change is Bayek going to Rome and have it as a Syndicate type of structure but have the mission’s be more Aya focused than Bayek like a 55/45 split and them be at odds about how the Hidden Ones should operate. I’d like to see them have another child (Kind of like a new beginning for both of them) and have the child be the one to disarm Aya’s mother that way she would hesitate as well like Aya did earlier so Aya can strike the killing blow, Bayek would still be clinging to life, the child would want to save their father but Bayek would tell them that It’s Okay, Bayek would feel at peace at the end he saved his child that he didn’t fail them like he failed Khemu, then Aya would say that’s it’s okay your father his with your big brother in the field of reeds
Bayek was the last truly good protagonist in an ac game. I'm hopeful for Mirage because Basim was my favorite part of Valhalla, I hope that they are telling the truth when they say it's gonna be a return to the classic formula
I was REALLY on board with this whole and loving it all the way up until Aya's mother reveal, and even that is fine. I think what I don't like is Bayek dying instead of him and Aya reconnecting on a romantic level. Also, did I hear correctly that AYA stabs Bayek in the heart, killing him, and NOT Aya's mother?
The fact that Odyessy could’ve been with Aya or Bayek, dissapoints me. I love them both and it would’ve been so fun to experience their stories and also use the Odyessy naval warfare system. I also have to give some props to Odyessy for the combat system, which is really fun for me.
Actually, the theory Egypt to Greece to Rome due to the initial leak that specifically stated that order, and it would have made sense. First you defend the home turf, in this case Egypt from Rome. Then you build up allies by aiding their cause in their location. In this case travelling to Greece and allying to fight Rome. And then you hit the heart of the enemy. In this case going to Rome itself. It also makes sense seeing that the next game was indeed Greek and there were rumours of a Roman game after that (which according to insiders was indeed in development, but got canned).
I liked your version of the trilogy of origin. Ubisoft should’ve done this and fleshed out origin more. Bayeks story was told so now it should’ve been ayas turn. So i can accept your trilogy. ❤
I was thinking same thing about Connor and aveline bc I feel they both could’ve been a badass couple of assassins creed 3 native and African working together and stoping templars would’ve been different but also cool to he but a missed opportunity.
@@mrmeme2917 Well fuck you and him. I have no reason to know him if he was as good as you say then the fans of AC wouldn't be stuck at multiple cliff hangers when Ubisoft release an AC game but They get lazy and don't introduce another sequel for the Protagonists who clearly needed continuation and explained ending for their stories like : Connor , Shay , Aveline, Edward , The Frye twins , Bayek and Aya
Never understood why we never got a sequel curse of the pharoahs bro dying and found in a pit of snakes with no apple made me think somethings going on.
It's sad to see they abandoned Origins since it had a perfect potential to develop it into a trilogy or two games at least. However, now all they're doing is an extremely bad copy and paste of Skyrim and one example is Valhalla.
It's good but instead of changing the ending of Origins with her killing Ceaser, what if Rome was more about her becoming Amunet and having it end with her killing Cleopatra with the snake?
Can’t understand why Ubisoft is so set against doing sequels or trilogies. I know it is a lot of time with a smaller cast of characters instead of something completely new and fresh every time but this potential to move to Ancient Rome then Ancient Greece is such a missed opportunity. I really wanted to see the evolution of the Hidden Ones and the Creed itself, why we have the tenants that we do and how they started their spread across the world. I did like that the 3 RPG games we got have titles that mean the beginning, the journey and the end, so keep that idea just with different titles. Loved your idea for a trilogy! The Ezio trilogy (1 character birth to death) and Kenway Saga (3 generations of a family) were great examples of storytelling and Ubisoft are really missing a trick by so massively jumping in time and place with every game. I Always say this but we should have gotten a Connor, Arno and Aveline Shay story(maybe set in the Napoleonic War) that could have bridged the gap between Unity and Syndicate, they could set up Starick’s growing empire or mention the Frye name or something to give us a flavour of the industrial Revolution that was coming. I would love to see a duopoly or trilogy set in the 100 years war, just give us some character continuity for a change!
It's beautiful and I understand that it takes time to come up with a great story like this, but Ubisoft wants quick stories and quick bucks. Unless you can come up with great stories like this quicker, then I don't think Ubisoft would be interested. The reason is simple, they already made a name for themselves as Assassin's Creed. They will sell their games even if its as bad as Odyssey.
They could still do this aswell like you can have mirage be the more classic style ac but have a sequel to origins be the newer style games like common ik there making for consoles ac Japan but I honestly don't care about it since ghost of tustima is there
Empire would be a bit of a silly name considering Rome was a republic at that time, didn't become an empire till a century later. I think "Legion" would've been a better subtitle, Watch Dogs be damned.
i wouldn’t care if they didn’t do a game in japan if they continued aya and bayek’s stories and i’ve been waiting on japan since before assassins creed 3 was revealed
I agree this would of been great and even if kassandra and evior could be in them but make it a sequel in the same time are as origins and actually see the making of assassins
It proofs that it's not nothing wrong with the main plot of Odyssey, it's just not that focus to the important part of its story, and its characterization too. As for Valhalla, this game shouldn't be released at all lol
i felt a heart break just hearing your story bassicly assasins creed origins had the most emotion in the whole franchise i wouldve liked that idea but that idea is gone for good
I reaaaaalllyy like this idea HOWEVER and I might be wrong on this so please correct me, but wouldn’t the Order of Ancients have known that Aya’s son has isu blood so they would have done everything NOT to kill him and maybe even raise him as Alexios/Demos?
I was interested until you said Aya was the most interesting character. She was wholly annoying and really poorly written. I detested that after 80 hours with Bayek they forced me to end the game with another character, one who had been cold, unfriendly for almost all of the game and uninteresting. Add to that, she was terrible to play with.
The choice to not give bayek and aya a trilogy Is an unforgivable one. They weren't ezio or the ezio trilogy. But they could have been their own. Could have made a new fan favourite trilogy. They were great characters. They deserved more. What they did in odyssey is awful. Valhalla is a far stretch once again. It honestly doesn't feel connected anymore. Just random. Unforseen. Unplanned. It's terrible. A part of me wants them to find their way. But another wants me to see them crash and burn. And for the series to finally die.
Aya, like Evie isn't a protagonist. Simply a playable character in Bayeks and Jacobs games. Otherwise this "we need more female protagonists" agenda that screwed over player choice in odyssey and valhalla, wouldn't even be valid.
@Nazar Your using a Meme to try and tell a gay man who is angry that his minority demographic is being discriminated against in Assassin's creed, is somehow a toxic right wing fascist. Your either 12 or pathetic. Either way this topic is to mature for you. (Evie has 11 missions. And Aya only has 3. They're not protagonists.)
@Nazar typical woke child. You make stupid claims, can't back it up, find out the person your talking to is a minority group with an actual problem, and now your silent. Just focus on school, and maybe you won't be a waste of your parents time and effort.
Man forget Aya, they should have just stayed with bayek Never liked Aya...got so sick of the game and bayek kissing her ass all the time and Aya's a freaking A-hole
The moment the odyssey trailer dropped i could feel an entire fanbase's heart break
Ya that’s accurate

The odyssey trailer was a straight up middle finger to everyone who wanted an origins sequel. Ubisoft really droped the ball on this one.
