Kenwood Neighborhood in Bethesda-Chevy Chase the Cherry blossom is beautiful. I think even prettier than the Tidal Basin. The best way to see is walking on the Capital Crescent Trail from Downtown Bethesda. Near the trail there are free park on the swimming pool park lot. But also you can park on the public park. Saturday and Sunday the public park on the ramp in Downtown Bethesda is free. Or you can take a metro to Downtown Bethesda.
I'm coming to DC march 27-30 and thanks to watching Trip Hacks I feel that I am well prepared. This is #1 on the bucket list and really looking forward to it, rain or shin !
Visited Tidal Basin today. Very packed. If you are getting dropped off by Uber, don't go to Jefferson Memorial, you will be sitting in the car for a while. I'm sure Rob can recommend somewhere close but easier to navigate.
I've been planning my trip for July 4th but keep hearing that cherry blossom was a better time. Thanks for this video, now I have to take a quick trip down March 23-26. I gotta fly my kite on the national mall.
Can you do a video about the tulips where to see in the area? Brookside gardens in Maryland they have tulips and also there are farms with tulips too. Brookside Garden is free . But to see the tulips on the farms you have to buy a ticket.
I'm popping by DC for a few days later this week, Thur/Fri/Sat. Appears I'm bringing the cold weather with me. 🤣 Maybe I'll catch the Smithsonian Castle Magnolias.
We are heading down to DC in our RV the first week of April. We'll be staying at Cherry Hill RV Park in College Park. We've been watching your videos like crazy and have learned a lot! Just wondering... are backpacks allowed in Smithsonian museums? What about the Capitol building? We're trying to figure out how to carry stuff.
Check the prohibited items list in the Capitol Visitor Center website. Bags have to be smaller than max dimensions. Can't have any prohibited items inside. If it can make it in there it is OK at the museums.
Make sure to check out my Tidal Basin tips video if you're planning to head down! ruclips.net/video/8IpyJ8HhxTU/видео.html
My mom, my daughter, and I are all going to DC the last week of March, we are so excited about it!
