Something you haven't mentioned regarding Isogen is the shift in resource availability. It used to be that Isogen was available in most of High Sec and readily available in Null Sec belts. During the so called 'Scarcity' period all ores containing Isogen were removed from High Sec and Null Sec, both belts and most anomalies. This, I believe, is the cause that Isogen spiked due to only readily being available in LowSec. Usually my EVE play involves exploration and mining. Gradually I'm hoping to move into mid tier Abyssals for some reliable ISK.
That is a brilliant point that i haven't mentioned it and hardly think about it, though i should! Part of the reason is that after that update in early 2020 there was a small drop off in players and slight increase in isogen prices, and while player number recovered a month or 2 later the prices stayed raised, however the reason i often forget about it is because the actual jump in isogen price to current levels started properly in october, climbing for 2 months to roughly where its stayed since, october was the triglavian expansion, taking out both lowsec and highsec systems that where great for mining, and screwing with trade pipelines at least for me 😜, thank you so much, i had forgotten this!
Also if your looking to start abyss id look at this video of benzies, its a fantasticly cheap fit and good experience ruclips.net/video/xQovzxF4uCo/видео.htmlsi=y-8kfZjSiRIpfqI7
I most consistently do exploration relic/data sites and PvP. I do a bit of everything except industry though just depends on what strikes my interest that day.
Abyssals and mission running for me mostly. I have limited chances to be fully committed to Eve continuously for longer periods so it's convenient to run a few abyssals for example before rl stuff needs my attention. Especially with mission running it's so easy to just warp off, dock up and come back at convenient moment. I've been in a few ~6 hour fleets fighting in a massive battle. Those are epic but tbh I hate TiDi. Also after that kind of battle it's usually like 7 AM for me and I'm questioning some decisions I made ':)
Lol, for me I've never questioned those decisions, just why people have to screw with me the next day when I'm that tired! But yeah this describes a lot of my time in game. Need to be able to step away, and can't plan round the kids
my main activity is really random, currently i enjoy Homefront missions as they are pretty simple but a good way to teach newcommers on Fleet activity, plus doing it myself is a pretty solid ISK printer ;) and a easy way to fix sec level in the process ;) but that's all between Manufacturing SP Farming, Kernite farming (for Isogen) in highsec, lowsec cowboy life PI and managing the structures ;) in short always is always cooking somewhere ;) never getting boring.
When your mining, do you just do that or do you chat in corp/ listen/ watch something at the same time? I ask because I knew someone who loved mining, but did it solo and with no other audio on, just asteroid meditation.... and I'm curious if that'd a common thing
How did you make the purple background when you have windows over? Also just back to the game and started in industry, I saw the perimeter stations are down now. Any new good places to do research/copys
for the colour, esc into the setings, user interface then down at the bottom you have the themes and you can make a custom one under at the bottom. As for research, i use placews in minmatar space mostly, however in urlen there is a player station 't1 mod manu' thats decent and its 1 jump out from perimiter. however there is alwayus scanners on the perimiter gate, so be tanked if your hauling!

@@aloneinfinland Fair point also. Ah, sounds a bit like running a Superior Sleeper site ':)

Thats the key to it, keeping it interesting. I havent done the homefronts yet, how large a fleet do you use
I do mission running and mining / Industry - I like relaxing when I play eve :)
