- On today's episode I clean, rust convert, seam seal, and paint the floor pans in my 1969 Dodge Dart. This car is one step closer to the No Name Nationals.
Howdy there Guys and Gals, My name is Duddie and I want to bring you along on my Automotive Adventures! I have a hack job too , I used very thick coats of por15 , well your making headway and the no name nationals is coming soon , put a taco in one hand and a wrench in the other ... Good luck 🤞

Do you plan on putting in carpet or anything? I highly recommend some insulation like in the floor of the duster. It gets hot very fast. Looks good dude!

Looks like great stuff. What's the rust converter called again? How about the paint?
I believe it's call CorraSeal, the label came off and I can't remember the spelling. And then just Rustoluem Paint. Appreciate it and Thanks For Watching!
Hey Duddie what's the rules on building that car. Because if there's really no rules I would have cut out the back floors and riveted some Aluminum sheets down on it and cut the front fender aprons out and cut trunk floors out and put some Aluminum down on it and cut some structure out from under the trunk lid and hood and add some bracing in place of the aprons to mount to the shock towers and take out the window regulators out of the door and anything else to save weight on that 4 door.
This car will be built for a AHRA and IHRA rules. If you watch the The Dodge Whisperer's channel, you will see that this car was only 80lbs heavier then a 68 Barracuda. After I removed the HVAC Box it was only a 40LBS difference. Appreciate it and Thanks For Watching!
