Hi everyone, in this video we shared a simple process to make aloo patties at home it will be crispy tasty and full of layers it can be served as evening snacks the aloo stuffing will be full of flavours do give it a try and let me know how it turned out.

Aloo patties😍 No oven | no pastry sheet required😋
Ingredients for Aloo masala
Mustard seeds /सरसों-1/2tsp
fennel seeds /सौंफ-1/2tsp
Crushed coriander seeds /धनिया-1tsp
cumin seeds/जीरा-1/2tsp
Asafoetida/ हींग -1/4tsp
Finely chopped green Chillies/ हरी मिर्च -1tsp
Finely chopped ginger / बारीक कटा हुआ अदरक -1tsp
Peas / मटर -1/4cup
Boiled and mashed potatoes/ उबले और मसले हुए आलू -4-5 medium
Kashmiri red chilli powder/ कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर -1tsp
Turmeric powder/हल्दी पाउडर -1/2tsp
Coriander powder/धनिया पाउडर -1tsp
Chaat Masala / चाट मसाला -1tbsp
Garam masala/ गरम मसाला -1tsp
Salt / नमक
Coriander leaves/ धनिए के पत्ते
For dough
All purpose flour/ मैदा-1.5cup
Salt / नमक
Butter / मक्खन - 2tbsp
Water / पानी (normal)
Method
▪️To make stuffing In a pan heat oil add Mustard, fennel, crushed, coriander seeds, cumin, asafoetida, green chillies, Ginger saute it for few seconds then add peas and saute it for about a min.
▪️Now add boiled and mashed potatoes along with Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric, Coriander, chaat masala , garam masala and salt mix everything nicely and cook for about 3 min min then garnish with coriander seeds & keep aside.
▪️To make patties first in a bowl add maida, salt ,butter mix it well with hands for about 5 -10 min then gradually add water and knead soft dough make a thin chapati spread a mix of cornflour and butter on it sprinkle little bit maida cover it with another thin chapati and repeat the same process 5 times now cut edges as shown in video and divide the square portion in 4 equal parts.
▪️Take one part and roll it using rolling pin , Fill aloo stuffing and cover all its edges you can use maida and water slurry to stick edges. Now fry it on low flame from both sides and enjoy with your favourite dip.

@chandnifoodcorner i did my 10th in 1998...so i can relate to this. I miss my school canteen's patties...oven se garam garam..and saath mein ek coca cola ki glass bottle jo 2-3 friends share karte the...i recently had aaloo pattie at noida and once at delhi mumbai expressway. Being on chemotherapy, i dont get taste in food, bt aaloo pattie still has the taste
