40:00 Re: the Catholic church and the Reformation, you're kind of right but also kind of a century early in KCD's setting. Most people consider Martin Luther's 95 Theses to be the arbitrary "official" start of the Reformation, and that was published in the early 1500s. However, this historical bit here with Jan Hus is a nice addition to the game. Before Luther, Jan Hus and John Wycliffe are considered to be the first two reformers of the church. Historical spoilers not game related: Hus was excommunicated and burned at the stake approx a decade after the setting of KCD. His followers, the Hussites, stayed pissed off for roughly a century after his execution. They kicked the crap out of 5 church crusades against them. I'm not Czech (Hus was Czech, which is a big factor why he was included in this game), but acc to what I've read, the Hussite movement became associated with local cultural and national (proto-national?) movements as well. Unrelated to Hus, the Hussites developed a tactic of using heavily armored wagons to create effectively prefab circular fortifications. Jan Zizka was a Hussite follower and a major military leader of the movement, and he's a Czech national hero. I'll be kind of curious to see in your playthrough whether KCD mentions Zizka (haven't played through the game myself).
Also fun fact about Žižka. He supposedly never lost a battle and lead his men first with one eye (if i remember it corectly from school he lost it as a child from some splinter that got in there) and then he lost the other eye aswell (dont remember how that did happen) but still lead his men in battle as a blind man and still won. And there is kinda unconfirmed roumor that when he died he wished to make a drum out of his skin so he can lead his soldiers even when he is dead. Also his groundbreaking tactic with wagonforts technically can be thought of as a early version of tank :D It was mobile fortress full of people with weapons and even early predecesors of guns and artillery (literally wooden tank :D) And last thing there is movie about him that came out like 2 years ago called "Medieval" but tbh it kinda sucks ass since its a mish mash of bits of history, love, action and straight up made up stuff and its kinda confusing And dissapointing tbh. I hope they'll make a new movie and this time more proper one based more on actual history and action (there is a lot of action for at least a few movies Žižka was almost always in a Battle 😂)
12:28 the latin says "No book is so bad that it cannot be useful in some part. Books are silent teachers. The best speaker is the one who says the most with few words."
Just a fun fact from Czech for those who are interested. The letters written in blood above the Limpy Luboshs body are "Zrádce" which means "Traitor" And the swear word people sometimes use in fights "Kurva" means like Fuck, Shit or Damn! (Or if you call a girl that, you call her a whore/bitch 😂 *It depends on context) But i guess everyone already know that since its like the most famous Slavic swear word 😂
@ I always viewed him as more salt of the earth compared to earlier example of the gluttonous priest with Hanush. Also helped that if you approached him initially during the day he would be practicing with a wooden sword and I think you could spar with him.

Never was rude enough to turn on the priest so I didn’t know the alternate route. Still how could you abandon him then watch him fail
Morals dude was outrageous but also funny
