I’d like to recommend the Cabaia Adventurer - it’s super practical, well-made, and stylish. I take it to work every day! Thanks for your picks, they’re all great!
I work in an environment where jeans and shorts are a no-no, so I appreciate the inclusion of the Nomatic and the Troubadour. I'd love to see another list that focuses work totes and backpack alternatives. Keep the cool lists coming and thanks!
I have both the Alpaka Metro and the Aer City (non-XPAC) packs. The Metro is my go-to EDC when I want to carry a bit more, while I use the Aer mostly to hold all my tech gear when I roadtrip back home. Absolute bangers, both of them.
Thanks for the great list! I'm interested in checking out the Troubadour! I work in a corporate environment so I need something that looks presentable while also being able to pack quite a bit, especially now that I have to lug a breast pump to work! I already have the Alpaka Metro but it is unfortunately too small for me with the breast pump. I can definitely see myself using it more when I no longer need to pump at work. Since going back to work after maternity leave though, I've been carrying the Samsonite Mobile Solution Eco Classic BP V2 which is stylish, extremely roomy, and has a fantastic laptop compartment that amply fits my 15" work laptop (it's a very tight squeeze in the Alpaka Metro), and all that without looking too big and bulky on my small frame (I'm about 5'1" too!).
The Troubadour can definitely fit more than the Metro and it still maintains its sleek shape, i think its such a great work bag! Hopefully it fits your needs :)
Just got my Alpaka Metro Backpack after you mentioned that it's compact for fun-sized girls. I agree it does carry enough for what I need both casual and work. Other than that, I also have the Aer City Pack (XPAC) for my 'out of town' bag. I look like a turtle with this bag though hahaha
Have you guys at NN ever heard of Stubble and Co? I may have mentioned them before. Aaron may like the tote, but they do a roll top too. (Saw them on Gear By Orlaigh 😁)
I need a bag that looks professional ( leather or faux leather) that looks nice. No lap top compartment needed. Enough room for my lunch box, water bottle, small make up bag, small wallet, books and small electronic gear ( nothing heavy) Not too big and do not look like a gym bag material. I dress professional and I like my bag to look nice. I walk probably 30 min max to work and use the transit sometimes so security is important. When I get to work, I am there for 10 hours and I don’t budge until time to go. I am 5’3” so I don’t want a big heavy bag. The opening can not be smaller than the bottom and it has to have a zip close on top.
so of t]all the bags in this video the Troubadour Ember Backpack is the best looking, Bellroy and Alpaka also has very nice stylish looking bags but not leather i would say. These are more functional bags over stylish
I'd not pick Bellroy, they're pushed all over RUclips and i refuse to buy one.. 🤪 I'll take an Osprey.. any will do.. Arcane Tote is nice.. i wonder if theyd send me a free one if i told them i really really like them a lot.. 🤔 🤪
I have an Osprey Nebula 32L, it is a great backpack, but as an office backpack the Bellroy Workpack is way better. If you get osprey for an office pack go for their more urban backpacks
@@OndaPiloto i have no use for a smart office work back pack etc. if I did, and I went Osprey, I'd maybe pick the Arcane Tote as mentioned or I might pick one from their Transporter range. Maybe their Flap top Transporter in black. Maybe.
@@OndaPiloto you know backpacks can be used for carrying stuff in general, not just for work or picnics or camping etc? In fact, Work Backpacks make pretty good EDC packs.. 😉

Finally, so glad to see a woman reviewing backpacks
I got you!!

The timing of this video! Just when i needed to look up backpacks for work. Love the production and the energy in the vid!
So glad to hear that!! :) thanks so much
Not a girl but am interested in the Bellroy Transit Workpack, which brought me here. Excellent video, keep up the good work!
all are welcome! so glad you enjoyed it :)
Just in time, as I'm looking for a work backpack ❤ you always have my back!
I got youuuu 😊

If i do another work bag round up I will def add more totes and bags! Glad you liked it :)
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
👍

I'm looking at both those bags, but leaning toward the Metro. The City looks huge for 14 liters.
@@marianthelibrarian2274 For all my love of Aer products, if I had to pick only one between these two, I’d go for the Metro.
Agreed the Metro is a classic EDC!
The Alpaka Metro is now also available in Blue (with light gray interior) and Gray (with orange interior)
Great color options
Yessss Alpaka is stepping up their color game!

@@GearfortheGirls agree!!! Thank you so much for these short yet detailed reviews. Really helps out!
For best stylish work bag, I think you should also check out the Knomo Beaufort Backpack - would love to hear your review of it!
Ooooo really nice bag! I'll see if i can test one out :)
The Harbor London is very feminine. I’ve got the Aer CP in xpac and it’s super light, comfy, and the orange interior looks 🔥
Yes its a beauuuutiful bag! I am a big fan of that orange interior as well 😛

They are on my list of gear to test out!!
Waiting for the Troubadour Ember review 😅
Sooooo many bags to review haha

Work packs do indeed make great EDC packs! but you haveeeee to give Bellroy a try, i promise the hype is real! and of course Osprey is just the GOAT

I love you
I love you too
We all do.. no one's actually watching for the bags, that'd be silly.. 🤪
