I'm so appreciative of you posting this video into a world where beauty and serenity reigned supreme. I wish there was a book with pictures of her different homes, their interiors and gardens were shown. Any suggestions?
Mrs. Mellon was so private one doesn't have many chances to see how she and her husband lived.
So your video was a real treat! Thank you.

Mrs. Mellon had a style both considered and insouciant. One can’t separate it from her colossal wealth, but I don’t think that the money drove her style. Rather, it allowed her pathways to include or reject things at her whim and seemingly for her personal pleasure. Her rooms don’t seem to me to be showcases, but rather simply places she enjoyed.

I love Bunny Mellon's understanding for bold and subtle to spur the human spirit. the more I learn of her, I come to understand why JFK chose her to design the Rose Garden in the White House.

The interior at 1:57 is not of Bunny Mellon, but a very recent interior by Miles Redd.
