      Puking at gym while working out doesn't necessarily mean you working hard, just means working dumb. Instead work SMART. Don't eat too heavy before working out and always listen to your body, if it hurts then stop and rest.

      I don't care I'm a beginner who's in his first 5 years of bodybuilding. If the scientific data concludes that push/pull movements, squats, deadlifts and arm exercises when you lift at least 60% of your 1rep max with slow eccentric reps and fast, explosive concentric reps in the 6-15 rep range stopping at least at 5 reps before failure are the best means for developing a muscular physique as efficiently as possible... then I know enough to see the that a lot of celebrity/hollywood trainers are full of 💩 when they show those typical overly complicated exercises that have no real benefit for the goal of musclegrowth.
      Of course, I agree that you need to do other training besides bodybuilding methods like training to fight and exercising movement and not to forget: cardio.
      But when I see celebrity trainers demonstrating exercises that 'grow muscle' it shows me how inept they are...
      or they're not really that inept and they show more fun exercises as a means of marketing and to attract customers or they keep secrets I guess.
      The only thing I know is a lot of the exercises demonstrated by these types are useless for musclebuilding goals according to science and whether it's them keeping secrets, marketing or just ineptitude is pure speculation.

    If you throw up it is a sign of you being pushed to the limit. You do not strive to throw up, but if you do, you know you are working hard. I've never actually thrown up while working out, but I have been close at time. The time when I am close, I am normally pushing myself to the limit, and that is when I get the most growth.

    • @brigandboy1425
      @brigandboy1425 6 лет назад +7

      No no, you are right. It's "Fake."
      It wasn't 300 that held of a million man army. It was something like 3000, though documented accounts say it was only 300 or so *SPARTANS.*
      And they pushed tens of thousands of the Persian shitbags into the sea, over and over again, for days on end. They had to build walls out of the corpses, and the snubbing the Persian Prince had to his pride over such a costly delay helped hinder him when he finally pushed on overland towards the rest of Greece.
      But it wasn't the Spartans who saved Greece ultimately, it was the Athenians. Their "wall of wood" ended up being the navy, which wrecked the Persian navy, and allowed for the rest of the world to be able to have greek and roman roots as opposed to Persian.
      Don't kid yourself. Anywhere there are princes, those princes look for blood. Remember that the battle at Thermopylae never would have taken place if the Persian hadn't decided to march upon the Helens. Spartans killed babies. Athenians murdered neighboring city states. Persian invaded whole nations.
      There is no lie in any of that.

    • @whata86
      @whata86 5 лет назад +6

      Brigand Boy beautifully said . And I couldn’t agree more . I am always moved when I read about this battle . I think at one point Leonidas and all his men knew they were going to die to the last men, to give Greece just Alittle bit more time to defend against the Persians . It’s recorded that the Spartans fought tooth and nail when they were surrounded on both sides . It must have been a sight to see that , the Spartans fighting like possessed men.

    I'd expect the king's personal guard to be the strongest, smartest, and the most well equipped soldiers in the entire state. That would probably include armor. Although, full bronze plate would be heavy as hell and wouldn't be worn when travelling- which is the disguise that the king used to move his troops. So, they probably wore armor on a regular basis. Either armor or not armor seems plausible for the battle of thermopylae.

    how long did it take to make abs like that?

  • @slacker1689
    @slacker1689 11 лет назад +1

    no you can't. If you work out and eat horribly you will develope muscle, but it will be developed more slowly and will have more fat. You will never get a 6 pack without a diet, no matter how hard you train, because it involves having low body fat. If you eat nothing but crap and workout you will peak quicker, gain less (muscle) gain more weight and be slower/and have more difficulty with cardio. The point stands that both are important and work together.
