As you can see Nightbird is a "Decepticon" because the Decepticon stole her in her public release and reprogram her which makes her to work with the Decepticons XD

So with that backpack, we'd assumed this ninja's main weakness is sneaking through tight spaces. All jokes aside, it's still kinda weird that the backpack is still an issue with this character when Fans Toys engineering has managed to figure out mass-shifting with their Stunticons being voyager sized bots turning into Takara MP-scaled cars. But then again, FT hasn't done the same with their Rouge. Great review, Emgo. Thanks!

Can you plug the batons facing backwards so they look like tailpipes? Or are they specifically designed to only tab in one way? Ya know, with a bit of tinkering, I could see someone making her into a figure of Tali Z'orah from Mass Effect...
Man that paint job looks amazing i cant wait to have her and arcee together fighting over springer. Only thing i would have liked to see is a detachable back pack would have been cool like the wfc arcee but it dont bother me none.
Everything looks better in black, but I still think the DX mold is better than the MP for both characters. There are a few compromises with the lower price point, especially in how tightly the backpack folds up, but the reduction in fiddly bits that just aren't fun to deal with more than makes up for it. I'm not sure if it counts as a feature that it fits in with the modern shrunken size DXs, but she does that as well.
My scenario for Nightbird, She escaped from her confinement and sought out Megatron to pledge her loyalty to Him, And went out to find an alt mode disguise and the vehicle she chose was a Mitsubishi eclipse.

I've watched a lot of these videos, but I am often disappointed with how little visible (intentional) parts are shared between the robot and vehicle. I think here it is just the chest. That might be due to the it wanting to look similar to the cartoon in both modes. I would have for instance expected the rear haunges to be come the thighs, but no. Still, impressive engineering. Which (masterpiece-like toy) would you say does that the best?

I think Nightbird's character should have been in bayverse movie# 2 instead of galvatron. She was "created by humans" in the g1 animated series. This figure looks so good and the backpack makes perfect sense for a robot ninja.

I just got mine today and i agree, it really struggles to stand. That backpack, plus those knees and ankles, it's gotta be almost perfectly balanced. I've found leaning her forward just a little, tilting the head up, and swiveling the thighs out a little seems to do the trick.
I'm not really familiar with this character, but when I saw the second face I assumed it was bloosh compatible. Is there any instance of her breathing fire or something?
the panel is from a moment in the legends manga (which is only somewhat less random dan emgo's skit) but since she is a ninja, and spitting fire is effectivelly one of the tricks, it would make sense

Most things you can disassemble unless it has pins (not screws, pegs etc) holding things together, and that's the stop sign for me most of the time ... , as pins sometimes just don't want to get back into place sometimes -- or their hole's crack / stress due to the effort . It ain't really all that easy to make an arcee figure that masshifts due to the slim nature of the robot mode
