Thanks for watching!
Good video - just one suggestion: you don't need to unscrew the master cylinder pushrod - it will pull right out. You should avoid messing with the adjustment of the pushrod length.
Thanks for the tip!
Looks good JR , I told my son one day we need to remove his pedal assy. and modify it. We need more room between the brake and clutch pedals--we both have big feet..Have a good holiday this week. I will cook our turkey in the old house where i'm still living working on vw projects. I will take the dinner to the new house . My son must work all week but has Sunday off so that is when we will have our holiday dinner..I'm a good cook and make all the standard Thanksgiving food dishes ..
Hello Dan, nice to hear from you. They sell a kit to widen the pedals. Mind was already modified; I think; because it has a very poor weld in the clutch pedal that I am going to fix. But I am pretty sure that you can do at home with some of the extra part you have around. That is my next task; cleaning and repairing the cluster pedal. I hope you have a great weekend. Take care brother
I like using the rustoleum products. Seems to hold up quite well honestly. I like heating the metal before painting some parts. I ended up laying two layers of sound deadener on my floors. Not sure what it’s like yet, I haven’t driven it.
Hello there brother. I like them to, not to mention they are least expensive the other name brans. And they do a fenomenal job. So you did a double layer of the sound deadening material ? Let me know how that works. In my after I do the sound deadener I install a layer of the thing carpet underlayment use in house and have had good results. I usually get at Menards , Lowe’s or Home Depot. Then I install my carpet over that. Take care brother and thanks for your constant support.
@@juniorclassicvwbugs924 I did a double layer on the floors, and I did a triple layer in the luggage compartment area behind the seat.
Then of course double layer inside the doors, and the quarter panel sections. I can tell there was a difference just by pounding on it lightly with the palm of my hand. Compared to one layer.
Be careful with the stuff used underneath carpeting for a house. It will collect moisture and cause rust. Or collect moisture and make it smell inside.
I can’t do a whole lot right now. The weather changed quickly. Of course we’re not far apart so you know the deal. I still go in the garage and get stuff done, I use my kerosene heater. It’s just not as fun in the winter.
Where did you get your seat covers?
Thx
Jbug , they are TMI
