There is definitely nothing weird about talking to a camera whilst cleaning the fridge.... the weird bit is that we enjoy watching 😁 It's such a chilled kind of vlog to watch on a Friday evening.
Glad to see that you also managed to clean that smudge on your camera lens 😂
Hope you have a fab weekend 😊

I hate cleaning the oven Lisa. I did train my kids and whilst they were untidy at home they are much more tidy in their own homes. I still miss them and to be honest I have become more untidy without them as I just don't have to be so organised. 😊 Have a fun trip x

I have always enjoyed cleaning/organizing things. I have 2 older brothers and when we were younger my mom would give us chores to do around the house; I remember often asking my brothers if they wanted me to do their chores...of course they said "yes"! 🤣I enjoy the quiet time it gives me and allows me to just think or clear my head of busy thoughts. I also enjoy watching your videos...even cleaning out your refrigerator (it's a good reminder that I need to clean out mine as well)!

When I was growing up, my mum did everything in the house, I did learn to use her twin tub (washing machine), when I was about 15. I taught my daughter how to do things around the house, however like my mum I did the majority of the house work. I double line my kitchen bin, so if one bag burst at least it’s inside another one. Enjoyed the vlogs has always.x

Hey there Lisa,I always enjoy your tidy up videos. Growing up, our jobs were very gender specific, boys: outside (mow grass, etc.) girls: inside (laundry, etc.). Raising my own kids, I was a sahm and I homeschooled them all the way to university. One would think I had a chore chart complete with gold stars 😅 nope, I did it all, including the lawn work. I truly, truly enjoyed it. I taught them the basics and let’s just say, one child got it and the other, not so much 😂 Now that we are empty nesters, we split jobs, nothing in particular with exception to bathrooms, I usually do those. It all works out. We keep our home neat and tidy, everything has a place and everything is in its place 😊

Hiya Lisa, do you feed the fig? They need regular feeding with tomato food. Also, if this is the first year you have had fruit, they will get larger as the plant matures xx

I never did chores growing up nor have I made my kids do it. Kids are kids for such a short amount of time I never wanted mine doing housework, I want them to play etc plus I like being a mum and doing what my mum did. None of us as kids did housework unless we wanted to do something. Never cooked unless it was helping with baking or wanted to be involved. Myself and my siblings have all grown up self sufficient and didn’t need ‘training’ I guess as we had a relaxed childhood and left to play it became fun when we all got houses to clean and cook. My son has moved out and is fab at cleaning, gardening and cooking and never was trained by me unless he wanted to be involved. He learnt some basic dishes to cook before uni but that was it. Your little for such a short period of time I’m a strong believer that you should be little and have no adult worries or chores. Adulting is hard enough without doing housework when you’re little. Not the same as some people but worked for me as a child and with my kids 😀
