Storage problem in bathroom, buy a little storage cart with draws, you can get one of those lazy Susan type shelves for the counter for cosmetics etc, you can stick light shelves in the wall with 3M left hand side of mirror on wal
For the bathroom I would buy 2-4 acrylic/clear shelves to store your most used products and a marble or decorative tray for the sink area to hold the remaining items ❤❤
I had the same problem in the bathroom. What I did was take the towel rack out and placed a floor to ceiling cabinet to store everything in it and closed the door. Out of sight, out of mind. Inside the cabinet I put baskets to put all like products in it so when I need them I just pull out the basket with everything in it to use then I pit everything I used in the basket back in the cabinet.
A big picture above the bed & a mirror above the dresser will look fab, and a cute door-stop for the bedroom door. A trolley with drawers for the bathroom or a small cabinet, Ikea have some good ones. Do you regret returning the bold coloured rug for the living area? I think now that you've added more to that space, the bright rug would've looked spectacular! 💙
Omg I absolutely love that you ironed the wrinkles out of your bedding . So many people throw their sheets on and they’re all wrinkled. They look like they’ve been slept in Love your channel
Don’t dry your pillow covers in the dryer. Iron them right out of the washer and still damp. Then let them finish drying on your drying rack. Or if you must dry them then use a spray bottle with water in it to make them damp and then iron. Steam just from the iron is slower and not as effective.
Yeah, I was about to suggest using steaming or water sprinkling option in the iron, but it's probably easier just ironing them before drying. Also maybe use another program of the washing machine, the one with more delicate spin setting?
Your apartment is looking lovely! I agree - Gumption is amazing, nothing else quite works the same. It’s been nice to see glimpses of your new city in your last couple of videos. It looks like a beautiful place.
For the wall being scratched by the chair, you can put a plexiglass glass. Have it cut down to size and you can also use the remaining plexiglass elsewhere in the apt. Where needed.
Regarding the wall next to the desk, maybe a horizontal strip of removable wallpaper would be helpful. It wouldn't need to be very wide. You may be able to find a pattern that would camouflage the scuff marks as well as being decorative. It would protect the wall and could easily be replaced as needed. Your apartment is looking great - you have an eye for decorating and making a space feel cozy.
I like to use Jif for my cleaning the kitchen sink and bathrooms. Used it for years, it’s brilliant. I have tried gumption, thought it was ok. Just didn’t like it’s in a pot is all
Starch spray will get all creases out no matter the fabric, except the ones that can not be ironed. The heat of the iron with the starch works together to get the job done.
Just in time ❤ The tricky thing with those diamond paintings is that they suit very few types of apartments. I wanted to try some but I realized I wouldn't want to have this piece hanging in my apartment, nor would my friends or family, so once finished it will most likely end up in garbage 🙄
For your frilly pillow cases, try putting them in the dryer on the hottest setting with a couple of ice cubes thrown in. It will essentially steam and dry them and should get the wrinkles out. You can also spray a bit of ironing aid on them first before throwing them in 💕
Recommendation for diamond painting? Mine would be: "do not do it!" - especially if you are a completionist. I had the same exact idea when I saw beautiful image of deers in winter forest for what would be 5 bucks in usd. It took me 2 months to get it done and my kitchen table was full of little baggies with rhinestones just waiting to be spilt during that time. Not to mention the completionist in me was screaming at myself "what is taking so long?!" lol. I am SO happy I am finally done with it and I will never buy another one, even if it comes with the larger tool that can pick up multiple gems (my kit got only the basic single gem tool).
I would love to see a bathroom decluttering video! It looks like a lot of products... Pretry much like my cabinets which i never actually get to 😂 Also, I believe its perfectly fine if you have one lamp in the bedroom 😊 vase on the other side would balance it out!
Hi, Rachel. So great to see you in this cleaning inspo video. I love your paint by numbers-congrats on completing it. Is there a place u’d like to hang it? You’ve inspired me to look into painting by number, too~
Wow, I love these type of videos 💝, also love your thrifting videos. I love your little robot vacuum, if only I had that kind of money to buy one, it would significantly help me maintain my house, as I have 2 indoor cats, which shed fur. Your paint by numbers looks amazing, well done💖. Take care and stay safe.
I love your content ....why do you need all that stuff? Sorry I have 5 things I do and use. Just st7ns me when and what some d9...ty for your content🙏❤️
That little vacuum is like a little friend 😂 It’s so cute!

For your sewing stuff you could get a nice basket and store it all in that so it’s put together, neat and tidy 😊
Great idea!! I love that, I definitely have to come up with something 🩵

I slightly panicked when I heard happy Sunday and thought I slept through Saturday! 😅
Haha not quite, posting on a Saturday but filmed last Sunday 🙈🧡

So? You are supposed to slepp there again in a couple of hours.. Really don't get why people iron these things ^^

oo thats a good idea, thank you 🩷
Do a small diamond dot project to begin, so you can see if you like it. I did an A5 notebook cover.
Yep. Gumption is AWESOME! I am a housekeeper by trade and that stuff is the best to use on walls.
I cant wait to get some. Also didnt know it could be used on walls, thats awesome 🩷
I think several little pictures above your bed would suit your Nancy Meyers vibes

Perhaps a cute throw blanket on the back of the desk chair will help minimise damage on the wall? i've done similar 😂
That little vacuum robot is so cute! And also, yayyy get that sponsorship!!

Oh fabulous thank you 🩷

Ice cubes in the dryer?????????????Scary!
So interesting about the icecubes, didnt know about that 🩷
I've used a wet washcloth instead of ice cubes. Same concept, though. It steams your fabric.

I 100% agree, Gumption is so much better than The Pink Stuff!
If you don't sleep on your ruffle pillows, use spray starch as you iron.

I love your apartment and the way you decorated… one suggestion change the rug in the living to a oriental design rug I think it will elevate it
1 big picture! It will be a lot less cluttered and be a statement! Hi from Winnipeg! 👋
Use the steam function on your iron.
Diamond Art Club for your diamond art. You'll enjoy that craft.
Long time viewer. I love your motivating cleaning videos. Lots of from from Aussie land. 🙂🙂
Gumption is $5.40 (AUD)! Inflation hurts 😬
Take the pillow covers to the cleaners and just have them press them 😊
Gumption is now $5.40 at Woolies 🙈🙈 but def better than 20
For your pillow ruffles they make a wrinkle remover spray you just spray it on and after awhile the wrinkles are.gone!.
Also your air vents filters may need changed , after changing mine lately it really helped with the dust and my allergies!! 😊
Where did you get your acrylic drawers under your kitchen sink please???

May I ask where did you get your paint by number from ?

@@rachelleea -Perfect little desk for an apt! Thanks for responding!
For a new creative project have you ever tried cross stitching or embroidery?
Rachel has done cross stitch in previous videos.
Maybe be try starch for the pillows
I love your content ....why do you need all that stuff? Sorry I have 5 things I do and use. Just st7ns me when and what some d9...ty for your content🙏❤️
Who’s going to water your plants while you’re in Australia for a month ?
Dunno, was thinking of setting up a little greenhouse things so they can be self sufficient 🥰💛
How is your plant doing under the vent?
I dont use the AC or heating at the moment so hes fine. Maybe as we get into winter and I have to start using it I should move him 🩵
Poor basil plant! Seems like few days away from dying
1 big picture
I think so too, Just have to decide 😆
Oh, we're a week behind.
Yeah sorry, I filmed and filmed and filmed last weekend 🩵
