Aid for Ukraine helps Western countries to improve their weapons

- More than 50 billion dollars. This is the amount that the United States allocated to Ukraine for military needs after the full-scale Russian invasion. According to the Pentagon, the assistance packages included various weapons: from air defense, fire weapons, armored systems and UAVs to small arms, naval equipment and various ammunition. Washington and Kyiv’s other Western allies do not stop there and announce new military supplies. However, by providing the Ukrainian army with its weapons, the West is not weakening.

It may seem callous, but western weapons manufactures learn a lot from the use of their products in ukraine. Ukraine provides an ideal battlefield test site.
Russian weapons have been shown to be inadequate, while western weapons have been proven to be effective in battlefield conditions, this must be worth billions of dollars to the marketing departments of the weapons manufactures. Ukrainian inovation in drone technology is producjng a whole new class of weapons, and called into question the design of the current generation of tanks and other armour.
NATO needs to wake up and prove it has the logistic capability to support the front line for the win
Providing older weaponry to Ukraine also saves massive disposal costs. Win-win-win. Common sense in support of global freedom and democracy.

Ukraine is not the bread basket of the world. US and/or russia is and while weapons production wont effect our economy the void left by ukrainian agriculture just might. You really shouldnt learn your economics from wartime propaganda or you end up...right where you are. Which is up the creek without a paddle...
