Holy crap! I didn't know they have this in the Netherlands! It's quite close to where my sister-in-law lives. Definitely going there next time I visit.
Damn, I've driven this track a couple times myself but it has never been this slippery for me. Definitely did spin out and had some wall touches but had a lot more grip because I drove later in the day I suppose. Would love to drive the track with a smooth ice surface like you guys did. Makes it a LOT harder from what I can see.
I’m actually going to add a lesson about this. It showcases a lot of the primary rotation techniques and concepts around slip angle which are harder to see in dry conditions.
It's super tough, especially if you've never done drifting before. You learn so much about your driving in low grip conditions, so I'd highly recommend it!
I honestly feel like this would be way more entertaining with all-wheel-drive karts, with somewhere around a 40/60 front/rear bias; just to give the kart some more turning power and help swing the front end around. would definitely help the understeer issues too. being that they’re electric i don’t see it being too difficult, but correct me if my lack of knowledge on karting vs car racing is wrong
I think you would need independent motors on the front tires to make that work. I've never heard of an AWD kart, but I'm curious if anyone has tried one!
I recently went to a k1 speed in Chicago thinking that i could go on the adult karts but even though I’m 4 11 I couldn’t and the kid carts were very inconsistent if anyone know a good karting place in Chicago please reply You have to be 4 10 to go on the adult karts

It’s really fun, I was there today and my fastest lap was 37,2 but that’s due to better ice I guess

Race 1 you traded 1st 16 times
Race 2 you traded 11 times
So all together that is 27 times you guys changed for 1st
You had to learn how to drift? Couldn’t be me.
