People have said it a bit, but Naruto needs Star Wars Legends type stuff, an expanded universe, I mean people knock filler a lot but Arcs like The Star Arc in Part I, Guren in Part II, Utakata in Part II were like good, they introduced cool new Jutsu Kekkei Genkai and characters and all had at least decent stories
I already like this video before I even watched it. Haku is a young legend, I wish he could've lived and changed his life like Gaara. Imagine a adult Haku as an ally.

Although, considering his friendship and connection to Naruto, since everything before Zabuza's death was still the same, wouldn't Haku be training with Naruto after he comes back to Konoha or at least during the month inbetween the preliminaries and the finals resulting in a stronger and faster Naruto? I mean, Haku treasured that bond with Naruto and believed in him even after his death (as seen when he was an Edo), so since he has a chance to help Naruto achieve his dream, wouldn't he take every opportunity to do so, especially after seeing who Naruto would have to fight against?
Thing is Haku would need to seek out somebody with water and wind release to learn to better utilize the full kit of elemental releases he has as an Ice Kekke Genkai. Plus at this stage Haku would still be somebody who values himself by how useful he is to others and thus his idea of helping Naruto would be to make himself more useful. Thus I don't see him helping Naruto train at this stage. Later sure and we might have a Naruto who knows more than 2ish Wind Style Jutsu. (yes I get this is 4 years later not expecting a response, just my point of view)
Haku was very skilled. I like his character and I think he would be an asset to Konoha. I like the animation. Honestly, I think Shino wins a Shino versus Shikamaru fight because he doesn't need to move to use his insects. Great effort my man. I appreciate the entertainment. Interested to see how Haku affects part 2.

I'm surprised that, given that Lee, Gaara and Haku would "kill" Kimimaro faster they wouldn't chase after Naruto and Sasuke, or at least have Lee hold of Kimimaro while Haku goes off and helps Naruto instead.

I think the team going after Sasuke would be the same. It was mostly based on who they could find who weren't too busy, but haku would follow unnoticed. And when gara shows up haku would move to catch up to Naruto. But instead of interfering with their battle he just watches. Then when Naruto is beaten haku talks to Sasuke before he leaves but tells him it's his path to chose and doesn't move to stop him.
You can never take the test alone. It's not just about your ability. It's about leadership skills. And lessons on what it means to be a shinobe. They would have to put him on a squad. Also I think they would put him on Naruto's squad temporarily. This is because they are the ones who brought him back and developed some trust. The third hokage would be the decision on that. Then when Sakura drops out to study medical ninjitsu they would fill the team with haku instead of Sai.

Don't let this video distract you from the fact that we all thought Haku was a woman when we first watched Naruto and fell for him just like Naruto did before the big reveal.
Actually since he was trained outside the village system, Haku had no rank but was said to fight at a mid-Jonin level. It can be assumed though, unless he was specially promoted by the Kage which very well could happen it’s true (like Neji), that he would have to start at Genin like anybody else.
Most likely Haku would of been the one to take the box due to his speed. He could get sasuke away from the situation most likely leading in Haku's death or Haku being severely injured by sasuke. Naruto would be injuried fighting kimaro and most likely lost control of the nine tails chakra. Neji would end up finding Haku more then likely unconscious or dead leading into a situation where they cannot find sasuke meaning he has escaped. Theres a lot of stuff which could happen out of this alone

I always thought Haku had a lot of potential and I think it would've been really cool if he had become Mizukage when he was older, helped carry out Zabuza's will and changed the Mist for the better, much like how Gaara became Kazekage, plus Naruto having a massive positive influence like that on not just 1 but 2 kages who had previously been ostracized by their villages and were outsiders would've been great. Also, I wonder if Haku would also be targeted by Orochimaru during the Chuunin exams for having a kekkei genkai like Sasuke and to a lesser extent Naruto were?
There are only two things I disagree with. 1.) The Shino/Shikamaru fight would not be a draw. Shikamaru would already know enough about Shino's jutsu. It'll be a hard fought battle, but I think Shikamaru would outsmart Shino. The second point I disagree with is the Naruto/Sasuke fight. Naruto at that point in the original story had fought kimimaro spamming shadow clones. In this version Haku would take on Kimimaro and Naruto would be able to move on without using so much chakra and stamina. The fight would end in a draw imo, with Sasuke's unconscious body being brought back to the village with the injured retrieval team.
This is one of those that highly depends on the circumstances of him surviving. For one where he gets captured something like this does likely happen. Haku's story however changes a lot if its a timeline he manages to rescue Zabuza or a timeline where he's forced to flee, but Zabuza still dies. Lol, like Gato and his men would have gotten anything other than turned to ice spike or senbon riddles swiss cheese. If a Zabuza with a kunai in his mouth manages to get to Gato, pissed off Haku whose far more functional would slaughter them with ease. That is just the sad fact of normal people vs ninja. Also lol, if Haku is taking the exam solo, there is no way Naruto doesn't brow beat him into teaming up and fighting with his friends. Just think of the hilarious epic fail when Orochimaru tries to mark Sasuke or Haku, but fails, not thanks to a skill issue but thanks to Ice Release making his snakes and snake powers lethargic. I will give you Shikimaru and Shino would be an interesting fight give they have severe issues of each can overwhelm the other, since all his bugs means ample shade. Temari vs Haku I honestly feel like ends up a draw from the fight becoming dangerous to the audience from her wind and his ice turning the stadium into a dangerous white out blizzard. One thing you forgot here is Kinimaru is also from a Land of Water blood line, so Haku would have Talk No Jutsu potential with him. Further I highly doubt Haku would be as prone to just leave his master's sword lying in the dirt, even if it isn't a fit for him personally.

I suggest SethTheProgrammer's recent Underrated Naruto Characters video, to anyone who hasnt seen it, where in he really puts into perspective how Haku, although the first real villain in the series, does survive the various power cliffs in later part 1 and Shippuden.
If haku hadn't spared Naruto and Sasuke, then haku would have defeated Naruto and Sasuke and defeated the bridge builder while Zabuza held off Kakashi. After that, haku Zabuza would help with kakashi
I honestly think that if Shino helped neji then they both could have went further to help either kiba or shikamaru which would have freed up tenmari which means someone can go assist naruto

Haku was faster than Lee and could hit vitals easily, I don't think Gaara was capable of beating him. Gaara was beaten severely by a low class ninja, Haku killed many junins putting him way above all the chunnin exam participants.
More of Haku would be cool. A clan of ice style jutsu users would’ve been great.
Honestly some more focus on the clans in general would've been good. Like Uzumakis, Aburami, litterally just more of a clan aspect than there was.

Haku was faster than Lee and could hit vitals easily, I don't think Gaara was capable of beating him. Gaara was beaten severely by a low class ninja, Haku killed many junins putting him way above all the chunnin exam participants.
