It's odd. How logos strike such a strong chord. Like...we don't really notice them, but on a subconscious level we do. And once they change, they never feel right again. My girlfriend is in her early twenties, and I am in my mid thirties...so am no stranger to bittersweet nostalgia, but she is just hitting her first wave, pointing to a early 2000s Mellow Yellow ad and getting the "awww, remember that" feeling. But she still stares at me blankly when I tell her about the mountain logo...with the sunset. 😅

Based on widespread availability of high-speed internet and relatable humor through expansion of memes in the last decade I'd say we never lost our sense of humor. And people usually do get along as long as some people don't view others as less than human and undeserving of basic human rights and decency.

Prior to the internet giving people a voice, you could create an entire movie where you just called somebody a faggot the entire time and you know who's gonna complain? A lot of people, but who are they gonna complain to, the town gazette? You're sitting here complaining on a youtube video showing 90's commercials, and as of this, 4 people liked your comment.
