damn I really loved the concept of the flag of Brazil at 0:30, the circle with the stars in our flag represents the states of Brazil so maybe in the space flag it would represent the countries of Earth? because they are in a blue circle it could represent our planet because we often call Earth the "blue planet" on top of the flag there's a star (the sun) that radiates yellow light throughout the planet and the white strip could be a rocket going "towards the stars" since the sun is also a star.

I like the idea of the moon in the Mexican Flag. In fact, Mexico means "The place in the moon's navel"... And, I still can see some resemblance with the rabbit in the face of the moon from prehispanic mythology. Very appropriate.

in short, two guys were chosen for sacrifice in a ritual fire, the one that was deemed to become the sun chickened out, and the other jumped into the fire without hesitation. Upon seeing how the guy transformed and raised as a sun, the one that chickened jumped into the fire to transform into a second sun. Upon seeing this, other gods that were in the sun creation ritual frowned upon the second sun and threw a rabbit to the face of it, tapping out the fire and leaving the charred body of the rabbit in the now moon face.

For countries with Arabic calligraphy in the flags, theres a specific type of calligraphy called Kufic script which looks very space age. Specifically modern Kufic and Square Kufic look very aesthetically pleasing.

I like the focus on sweeping curves, orbit rings, and non-five-pointed stars. Overall the lack of "just some lines" flags really makes it more dynamic, not to mention the animation. I don't know much about flags, but this looks really really cool!

That's the issue. We'll strike for familiarity and keeping to the theme of the flag. Just look at the European nations (I mean, so long the design is just as good).

- Every country is puppet states
- Every county is at war and uses their war flags
- Every country uses non-rectangular flags
- Every country is revolting (revolution flags)
- In the style of Japanese prefecture flags
- In the style of Saudi Arabian Flag (Motto with weapons/national insignia)
- In the style of counties with canton

Man, this attention to details is brilliant. 1:33 in the Belarusian flag there is an ornament which represents the Sun. I expected to see something generic like rocket but was really surprised
Animation speed is perfect, but the length of the pause after each transition needs to be like 0.8 seconds or something; not the like ≤ 0.07 seconds that it was here.

@@szilveszterforgo8776 It's an armillary sphere, a tool that represents the earth and the position of some celestial bodies (like stars for example) in the past it was used for navigation.
This same symbol is on the flag of Portugal and in the past it was also on the flag of the Kingdom of Brazil (which was part of the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves), and the flag of the Empire of Brazil after their independence

Absolutely love the smart twist to some flags like the Brazilian and Czech ones, adding dynamism and a futuristic look to them by using digonals and the curved trajectory of a rocket launch, but keeping its colours and overall design. Amazing flags.
[ 1:05 ] I like the design of the Italian 🇮🇹 flag, but I would have two changes to suggest:
1) in the center I would remove that chain of stars and replace it with a single star ☆ which is also one of the main symbols of the Italian Republic;
2) I would replace the Latin phrase "Spatium et ultra" with "Per aspera ad astra" meaning "through hardships to the stars" ("Attraverso le asperità sino alle stelle" in italian)🚀🌌

I don't understand the design choice of including just 3 stripes tho. The star maintained it's 14 spikes so there must still be 14 states, so why 3 monochrome stripes? I'm guessing just because it looks cool. But props to the creator!

0:42 The design is innovative and the colors make it look good but it would have been better to add the "Aztec sun" since the Mexicas used it as a "calendar" when looking at the sky
Yes, but Mexico in its original language means "navel of the moon"
Mexico's coat of arms is already too complex, this version is even more complex. I'd imagine a simpler rendition by changing the cactus (nopal) and water with the moon, since, after all, Mexico means "at the Navel of the Moon." But keeping the spread-winged eagle and snake is essential (imperialism and native origins), this time standing over the moon. Then change the laurel and oak for stars in an arch under the wings would be enough.
1:49 I like what you did with the Malaysia flag. I like the curve line that separates the moon and star which gave an interesting and modern look.

They kept the moon and the star to symbolise islam and the solar system which i do like and the grey stripes, makes it my most favourite out of all the flags

The Brazilian one is actually pretty philosophic. Because the stars in our flag are supposed to be the sky on the day of the republican coup d'stat. And each star represents a state of the country. But here the star is much beyond the night sky we have in the flag. Going beyond even the yellow part. Meaning that this star isn't symbolizing an state in the country, in Earth itself. But beyond

Thanks for the comments for helping me recognize it but taking a look at the dutch flag it's AMAZING! with the symbol looking like both a steering while, a compass, and banner is just amazing, while the way a river cris crosses the blue symbolising the rivers. Add into that that it has both the prince's and the Republic's colors and its just... Beautiful

Based on the colors I assumed it was Mercury Earth Mars?
my take is that those 3 planets are either Earth, Venus, and Mercury based on size (with colors that is associated with Philippines). It could also be Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao based on coloring and size.
My only gripe are the stars inside the sun. When you flip the flag there are 2 stars while 1 underneath. I want a symetrical flag so it should 2 in stars stacked onto each other and the 3rd star being on the right middle. Just like how the star's triangle pattern is today.
@@CaptainKapitan The 3 'stars' should be Venus(yellow), Earth(blue), and Mars(red). 3 'colonizable' planets in our system. Instead of 8 rays, use 195 for all nations for a united version.

1:03 I love that they kept the actual symbols of the original Philippine flag, the blue plane on top and red plane on the bottom, indicating a time of peace, the three stars are still there (symbolizing the three main areas of the country, luzon, visayas, and mindanao), and the eight rays of the sun are retained as well (symbolizing the eight provinces that led the revolt against Spain)
I love the new changes a lot, too. The white circle makes me think of equality and fairness, and the three colored dots makes me think that we colonized a few of the planets in our solar system. The blue one for Earth, the red one for Mars, and the yellow one either for the moon (since it's on the same circle as the blue earth), venus, or mercury (colonizing for their resources)
Overall, it looks great in my eyes
