I was born here but didn’t stay long. We then moved to Montreal. Packed up again & moved to California. Now I’m 74 & live in a small town in Massachusetts. Love it here. But I have duel citizenship. I’m proud to be Canadian but married an American guy, , & love it here in a small town on the east coast of the US. A days drive to the Canadian border. Sweet. Visited BC in 2018 & it’s as beautiful as I remember. 🇨🇦🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️❤️🕉️☮️

If you need better shopping or ferries to the mainland, better health services it’s off to Nanaimo or Victoria.
Too far from Nanaimo and Victoria the Island two main cities and the amenities they offer.
