Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

When addressing a former President of the United States in a formal setting, the correct form is “Mr. LastName.” (“President LastName” or “Mr. President” are terms reserved for the current head of state.) This is true for other ex-officials, as well. When talking about the person to a third party, on the other hand, it’s appropriate to say, “former President LastName.” This holds for introductions, as well: A current state governor is introduced as “Governor Tom Smith,” while you’d introduce an ex-governor as “former Governor Jim Bell.”

Just have to say, for a youngish man you carry yourself very well. Love the banter you have with Jim, nothing better than keeping everyone on their toes. Wish I could come over there and work on a farm like your's. As a diesel mech and growing up operating some shitty machines, I can really appreciate good modern machinery , good shed and the right gear to do the job. I totally get where your coming from when you say you wish you could go planting but have 11 months to wait haha I just finished sowing and hate it when it comes to an end. I can sit on a tractor for 18hrs a day sowing canola and wheat, its oddly satisfying to me. Managed to get almost 10,000 acres in the ground. You would think I'd not want to look at another tractor after the hours I do, but for some reason I cant stop watching your videos, its good to see the difference in farming life and learn some different practices between Australia and USA. We always keep a couple bottles of howes diesel treat to fill filters with. It lubes the injectors and you know it's clean vs taking the chance from contamination from the Jerry can. However, nice long pour in the wind. That's a skill acquired by a well versed beer aficionado

Kwik-Lube, grease in a can. Bought at RV stores, waterproof, great for motorized steps on RV 's, would work for those opening bearings on dump grain doors ! I know you like WD-40, me too !

There is another O ring that needs replaced in the Davco filter and it will fix the problem. It is in the bottom plate of the filter. You can order the O ring or the rebuild kit. My husband just had to do this exact same thing.

Putting equipment up in the shed/barn is like trying to put a puzzle together. It’s complicated the first time but once you’ve done it a few times everything fits just right.

i work as a diesel mechanic at a mega carrier. i have seen this issue before, and the solution i have come up with is the exact same thing that you did. most of the time i am lucky, with the trucks having an ISX and a electric fuel primer.

Interesting to hear what was cause of truck break down. We sometimes found the pickup tube in fuel tank had pin hole form in it an sucked air or fuel line from tank collapsed.

I just want to start off by saying I love keeping up with your RUclips show. I wanted to say I have a family friend who’s boy is in need from a grain bin accident he got his leg stuck in a grain bin sweep it tore up his leg really bad, broke his femur bone and he’s had several surgeries over the past few weeks. It’s made me think a lot about your grain bin safety video a few weeks back. I’m not asking for much just maybe a shout out to him for a good recovery his name is Grant Houk he’s 11 years old from Decatur Indiana. He will undergo several more surgeries over the weeks to come we are just keeping him in our prayers and thoughts.
