Shoutout to the one and only Trevor Plouffe!! This guy has come so far in the baseball media world and this show was so much fun to watch. Can’t wait to see Plouffe on Sunday night baseball in the future

Its absolutely crazy some of the people Jomboy media has been able to pull, some more successful than others, but Chris Rose, David Cone, Karl, Hoch, Passan, etc... I want Jomboy Media to continue to be massively successful, its like barstool sports for non-assholes, best guy barstool had was Pat McAfee, and he left then in 2018.

    • @jackiemoon5906

Spot on about barstool. They’re way too old to still play the dumb masshole thing

Chis Rose has been, is, and will continue to be the ultimate pull for Jomboy, the professionalism and yet down to earth humanity he brings is unbelievable. Such a win for JM!!!

Love the pitch clock and love they took out the ridiculous windups. Also the mlb fans pushing back with the “I watched before, idc if my dying sport wants to get viewers up” always came off terrible.

Pitchers duels games go super fast. I think the pitch clock should be at 22-25 seconds. Best thing about pitch clock is the batters can’t call time every pitch walk all the way to the dug out take 10 swings and ask for sign 20 times before they step in box.

I agree, sometimes it creates some good moments. Like if you want to count Freddie Freeman’s “there is wind boys”. That’s an all time great moment. But nearly all the time it’s an awkward cringe fest. Lol

some growing pains with the announcers trying to figure out how to time their questions in between moments of action
I think the awkwardness is largely due to questions being asked as a pitch is coming in so the player isn't exactly focused on the word they're saying
they did one with evan carter and i thought it was handled extremely well

I just dragged seven lapsed fans/non-fans to Petco for my bachelor party, and to a man they were delighted that the game 1) had a lot of continuous action and 2) didn't take forever. The pitch timer is bringing fans back.

They have already been doing that in the MLB. In Arlington and rangers ballpark they have cheerleader/dancers on top of the dugout in between innings. Then they have a dance routine they all do together behind center field on a stage will being broadcasted on the big screen. It’s already here the football bs in baseball now.

  • @pacmanly

Ok hear me out on this one... If they want to shorten the game, why dont they just...shorten the game? Play 7 inning games. Would also mean less wear and tear on players, especially pitchers.

SMH. I gets it your own opinion- Ravech not saying the most talented player in the world - Ohtani is not somebody he wants to watch is so RIDICULOUS. SMH. That tells you how Ohtani fatigue we already have for Ohtani’s greatness. Overlooked by the media. Love all the young players but nobody in the world can do what Ohtani does (pitch and hit ) - even no pitching - Ohtani is leading in every category. JOKE responses by media. Lol

@@theStacyJames I don’t see many dudes who throw under 95 needing Tj. Is the pitch clock a contributing factor yes but maybe 5% of the issue. As long as guys want to be throwing over 100 their career is going to be shortened by injury. It’s simple. They are like the high flying dunkers in basketball, you can not have a long career if that is your only weapon
