The amount of love and respect to this game is unbelievable
Variation system worked in MKx since all the characters had more universal moves. Mk11 scorpion only has spear and teleport MKx scorpion on the other hand had both those along with EX spear, his take down leg sweep and teleport cancel as standard.
Edit: just remembered he could also EX the spear again for a combo reset, scaling was massive but it was an option.
thats never really been the problem.The problem really is the game having some moves that are garbongo take two slots and stuff like that
@@finalboss3893 true, it makes the game stale since only one or two moves are worth having and the best ones end up being two slots.
But watered down characters also exacerbates this problem.

@@finalboss3893 creativity was probably the idea but they really messed it up. Each character only had two variations at launch which was weird.
I have not seen a more cleaner combo with scorpion in a while
The MKX training mode is like a lab, you never know what might happen.

I think so. I believe it sort of works like Tremor’s meter burn quake where it adds just a bit of damage at the end

mk11 feels like missing a lot of classic scorpion moves like the fire move the extends combos and deal damage if near opponent and the rising hell unblockable move. not to mention his slide from mk9 and mkX. in mk11 scorpion do not feel complete or fun because tele cancel is 2 slots.
From what I heard from others (idk myself bc I'm a scorpion main) that all the other characters are incomplete compared to mkx and 9. Everyone thinks in mk11 you are very limited in what you can do on there combo wise versus the previous Mk games

Dude I noticed that day one playing mk 11 that it wasn't as good as 10 which was a huge let down considering how hyped I was I ditched 11 and think I'll just stay on 10

very interactable. fun for the opponent to sit in a combo for 15 seconds. love losing control of my character, thats why i play games.
do you play xenoverse or Jump force? having to sit still for more than 15 seconds to return to neutral must be painful for you.

Input Right Trigger At the same time as the special move.
