The harmonies are so gorgeous, this whole song is. I love it already. When the first harmony came in, my jaw simply dropped. And it feels like someone has reached directly into my chest and touched my heart
My wife told me a couple of weeks ago, "You must really be into The Arcadian Wild." Every time I was listening to Pandora in the car it was on your channel. Let's just be truthful, with each album you get better and better. Thanks for blessing us with music that matters. I hope to see you in Knoxville in May. If you want to meet for coffee, I would love it.
I am ridiculously proud to say that Lincoln went to my school in his high school years and our chorus teacher invited The Arcadian Wild to come sing for us today. I fell in love with their music and their personalities immediately, I absolute adore them, and I'm super honored to have connected with Isaac (the guitarist) so well, I absolutely LOVED talking to him, he was so sweet and fun to chat with, I hope to see them all again in the future 🫶🫶🫶✨️✨️
Hah, just this week I was talking about the addictive, dopaminergic nature of social media and the harm it does and stuff - what timing for this song to drop
gorgeous song. it feels like its talking about me 😅 i didnt realize how dreadful being connected to my phone was until i started taking walks outside and just enjoying the nature we're blessed with.
Hit 'em with a little bit of dopamine to keep 'em lookin' Every second, they'll be second-guessing, try to meet the Expectation of the age of information, the simulation Will be so convincing, they'll forget that they're alive Hit 'em with a little bit of dopamine to keep 'em lookin' Every second, they'll be second-guessing, trying to meet the Expectation of the age of information, the simulation Will be so convincing, they'll forget that they're alive Hit 'em with a little bit of dopamine to keep 'em lookin' Every second, they'll be second-guessing, trying to meet the Expectation of the age of information, the simulation Will be so convincing, they'll forget that they're alive I can feel it slipping away My grip on reality's down to a couple fingers Living like I'm running a race, though I've my doubts Anyone's gonna come out the winner Wake up and break yourself outta here Don't be one of the cold souls who disappears Stop believing and telling the lie Why don't you look your life in the eye? Show a video of a corgi wearing a knitted sweater Then an advertisement for a pair of shoes that look much better Than the 14 they already have, besides, they're vegan leather They'll be so delighted, they'll forget that they're alive Giving pieces of me away My death comes by a thousand cuts, and I paid for the knife Bleeding for a way to escape my ball and chain The fatal clutches of Father Screen Time Wake up and break yourself outta here Don't be one of the cold souls who disappears Stop believing and telling the lie Why don't you look your life in the eye? Wake up and break yourself outta here Don't be one of the cold souls who disappears Stop believing and telling the lie Why don't you look your life in the eye?
Ahhhh!!! Yay!!! There is more coming, I'm so excited! Your music is of such quality and excellence I can't wait to see what this next album will be! :D
YAY! A new song to add to my favorites, listen to constantly, and share with my friends!😚 You guys are some of the best out there! Every new song is an absolute treat!
I love the idea of splitting the parts into different ears when you listen with headphones but tragically hearing two different things distinctly in two ears makes a sort of pain in my ears??? So this song was an unpleasant surprise, but I don’t think it’ll happen when I play it out loud and not with headphones so I can still enjoy it that way 🥲
I believe you can usually set your device to play the audio as if through open air (i.e., it's the same sound in each ear of your headphones) in the settings, by switching it from stereo sound to mono sound.
Been waiting to see if anyone commented on the JC/Isaiah borrow. “Ever seeing, but not perceiving / Ever hearing, but never understanding.” Brilliant exegesis of that text and inclusion here for what’s important in life. 🎤🫳🏻
@The Arcadian Wild Great song I can't wait for your next album (speaking of which when does it release). Also what type of mandolin do you use and what tuning do you use.

i might recommend "counting sheep" by the crane wives, though it's a bit more energetic of a song than this. i'm pretty sure the oh hellos also have a few songs like this (especially in their older albums) but i can't remember which ones for sure.
I second the Crane Wives and the Oh Hellos. For TCW I think Little Soldiers and October and fairly similar to this, and possibly Shallow River? Thus Always to Tyrants by the oh hellos has a similar bouncy feel to this as well, but a bit more intense.
Nothing gives me more dopamine than an Arcadian Wilds song
That is ironically called dopamine
Ugh, this song is so painfully true.
The harmonies are so gorgeous, this whole song is. I love it already. When the first harmony came in, my jaw simply dropped.
And it feels like someone has reached directly into my chest and touched my heart

The verses with all 3 parts ate like the mind of a person with ADHD. Especially when they all come in together in sync
lol it really does. Makes my dopamine deficient brain so happy
Hitting me with a little more dopamine on my screen...I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THIS...

Another great song, well done! The Arcadian Wild are so underrated
Hah, just this week I was talking about the addictive, dopaminergic nature of social media and the harm it does and stuff - what timing for this song to drop
The only thing more addicting than my phone is this song... (Which of course, is currently being listened to, on said phone…)
🤣🤣🤣

This is so good! Are you guys going to publish the song about your dad? I keep watching an old Facebook recording. Keep up the great work!
Anyone knows a song similar to this? Like the harmonies and the soft instruments? This is so good, bro.
i might recommend "counting sheep" by the crane wives, though it's a bit more energetic of a song than this. i'm pretty sure the oh hellos also have a few songs like this (especially in their older albums) but i can't remember which ones for sure.
@@possumprince Thanks! I think Oh Hellos has some like Where is You Rider or There Beneath. This one is kinda similar to One by Birdtalker too.

I know I did not just get hit with Arabesque No. 1 in the Mandolin solo
