The Art of Game Workshop Space Fleet by Tony Hough. Original Oldhammer Artwork brings you illustrations from Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k table top game Space Fleet, that appeared in White Dwarf 30 years ago. The artwork was created by none other than master artist and illustrator Tony Hough.
Space Fleet was published in 1991 by Games Workshop. Master illustrator Tony Hough was tasked with creating the brooding epic look and feel of the game. In July 1991 White Dwarf 139 published expanded rules for Space Fleet. It included special rules, Critical Damage tables and new ships. Accompanying the advanced rules were new illustrations from Tony Hough. Space Fleet would ultimately evolve in Battlefleet Gothic.
Original Oldhammer Artwork is part of the Oldhammer Channel Network.
Original Oldhammer Artwork main focus is to stimulate interest in the artists and artwork associated with the early years of Games Workshop and Citadel Miniatures. Secondly , our aim is to raise awareness about collecting the stunning artwork by acting as focal point for the community.

There is a lovely Easter egg in the ‘Eldar Ships Attack’ piece. At timestamp 00:51 hidden in the command deck is Tony’s own character Sister Sledgehammer!
