4:57 Burlington Northern SD40-2 still in it's Burlington Northern letting, but this locomotive is now patched by BNSF, and it's current whereabouts is unknown, but it's presume the locomotive is sold off to FURX or HCLX
This is all the footage I have. There was a Pentrex video made a few years before this...I think it was part of the Sunrise to Sunset series. I'm not sure if it is still available (DVD).
I have this one question I need to know about, what was with that box underneath the railroad crossing on north 9th street, like where the gate is located at of the crossing?
If it is the one on the right side, it was just a different design of gate mechanism. Didn't hold anything more than a normal one, just designed that way. C&NW had many of them, UP has replaced basically all of them now. Looked way better than what UP puts in now.
Its a Griswold/Safetran Systems Electro-Mechanical Gate Mechanism. Common on the Old CNW. The other signal has a Safetran base and 12 by 24 inch Safetran Incandesants and a Safetran Gate Mech mounted very low. The bell is a WCH First Gen Mechanical Bell I Believe.
Miss the SD 90 Macs....Outstanding Video!
Awesome catches with the old UP and BNSF power! It's amazing how many of these diesels are still in service.
Nice catches! Love the old videos!
1:26, SD90MAC-H leading and trailing. The original SD90MAC.
we’re those sd90mac and sd70ace? i didn’t know the ACE came out this early
There was an SD90MAC-H that had the notched nose like an -ACE has...I think that's what's you're seeing.

SD90MAC -H2
A SD90MAC -H2 Is basically a lettered logo ACe.
What is the song at the beginning of the video?
It' a free song from the RUclips library...it's called "Hero Theme"
I think I found the text on the crossing at 5:34
What were the crossings like back then, can you make a video with the trains back at that year in front of the crossing's when the trains come by?

I hadn't noticed it before, but perhaps it's just an older style of crossing signal with some of the electrical equipment in the base of the unit.
Capturing the Rails I think so too
