Nice to see you cut some leather by hand again. I will admit I have been using an arbor press lately to die cut patterns. Consistency has its place. Nice work once again and the two tone is a smart decision.
@@RoadAgentLeather ps- I only say "nearly" because, well.. Nothing is actually 'perfect'. But this is about as close as I've seen with this type of work.
I've made a few Karlova patterns myself so it's really enjoyable to watch you make one. This bag is on my list to make. Thanks for the excellent video!
Long time fan. I have been into leather working for a little over 2 years and absolutely love your work. I draw inspiration from your videos. Keep up the amazing work!
I really have to look into finding a good set of the round stitch punches they make for really attractive stitching and much easier hand stitches which my fingers would thank me for. Lovely work, somebody is going to be very fortunate to receive the bag
I love your videos dude. I am a leather crafter as well, and everytime i get on RUclips I look to see if you have a new one. Keep up the good work! I'm learning soo much!
Thanks! Are you referring to the spacing? The chisels I'm using in this video are 5 mm spacing. The actual holes themselves are about 1mm. The WUTA sets come with both the hole punches and even smaller pricking chisel heads.
I absolutely get annoyed when making bags (so much stitching and I don't use a machine at all). But there is definitely a sense of accomplishment when one turns out line this.
Hello idol, a question, you clean the leather you are going to work with a brush and soap, then you store it wet in a nylon bag, why is it stored in the nylon bag and for how long? Thank you very much for your information and your videos, greetings from the other side of the world (I used Google Translate to translate from Spanish to English) 👍🙋♂️.
It's called "casing". It prepares the leather to accept tooling/stamps. I put it in the bag to let the moisture fully penetrate the leather and not dry out. It's usually only a few hours. Some allow it to sit over night.
@@RoadAgentLeather so, you could make the diferent rigs as kind of "series". But a more simple alternative is tô consider the arthur's Action figure model as the definitive one. I'll search the Action figure models
@@RoadAgentLeather i found it: the definitive/standard models of holsters, belt, and bag have the name of Arthur (Arthur's belt, Arthur's holster, Arthur's satchel), but his bandolier is simply called "bandolier". All this models are the first ones acquired in the game canon events

Thank you!! 😊
That's awesome! I love it!
Wonderful!!!!❤❤
Thanks!
Is #5 Means 5mm on your chisel? And lastly when you used chisel for holster which # where you using?.Great work really beautiful!!
Correct; "5" is 5 mm center-to-center. I tend to use the 4 mm chisel for most work. The smaller/finer the project the smaller the stitches (generally)
This is gorgeous. What weight leather did you use?
5-7oz veg-tan. Thanks for watching!
! Amazing !
thanks!
congratulations, amazing. Is the template available for download? thanks for the info and the video
Thanks! See the video description for where to find the pattern.
@@RoadAgentLeather sorry I didn't see it. bought right now on etsy Thank you
Trabalho magnifico, parabéns. Tem o projeto para venda em pdf?
hI! no, I don't have any patterns for sale. The pattern for this can be purchased from Karla Design on Etsy.
Beautiful job. I have been eyeing this pattern for some time. Would probably use a different closure. What size hole is your punch?
Thanks! Are you referring to the spacing? The chisels I'm using in this video are 5 mm spacing. The actual holes themselves are about 1mm. The WUTA sets come with both the hole punches and even smaller pricking chisel heads.
It's one of your great works. My I ask what needles you are using. I have bought patterns from them before
I use John James Saddlers harness needles, Size 2 (002)
@@RoadAgentLeather thank you very much
Thanks for the great video. What/where did you get the tool for the peening the rivets?
Good eye! That's actually from the spot setter set (specifically the smallest one) from Tandy Leather

I totally agree! Thanks for watching!
Ótimo trabalho.
Very nice 👍🏻
Thank you 👍
What’s that Rivit setting tool that was used after snipping the post?
it's actually a small spot setter.
what tool is that you are using to round over the copper rivets?

Wow that’s a very nice bag. How much for one?
Thanks! I don't sell these, but you can find the patterns for making them on Etsy. I mention the seller name in the video description.
what is the pressurizing water bottle you use ?
It's the spray bottle from Tandy Leather. Thanks for subscribing!

Out of curiosity, why do you cut your dyes with alcohol?
Makes the bottle last longer, and soaks into the leather easier.
Какой клей используете ??? И финишное средство ?

Bro, could you make Arthur Morgan's bag and holster?
If I could find the "definitive" version. I've looked it up before (as I played RDR) and there are several different rigs he carries.

Putting music in an asmr video defeats the purpose of it actually being asmr! 😏
Perhaps. Leatherworking is a quiet hobby. Wouldn't be much sound otherwise (at least not with my recording equipment.) Thanks for watching!
