FYI, during the time My Linh Do went to the villages to do this project, she was once announced "gone missing" since no one could contact her for a long time, especially when there was a big storm with heavy and persistent rain. Despite the hard weather and muddy, difficult roads to the villages, she was still bravely walking there to meet people and stayed there with them to deeply understand their situation... However, thanks to that, she was loved by everyone in the villages and they organized a surprising birthday celebration for her with a special birthday "cake" which is a tray of boiled sweet potatoes. Such a little girl with a big sincere heart!

* VIETNAM, Do My Linh
~ Her Beauty with a Purpose project is about raising funds to provide light and electricity through solar energy in one of the remote areas in Vietnam. I am so amazed that she even lived in this unlit and remote village to understand their situation and too truly identify the problem. One of the best entries I have seen because I know this projects requires a lot of energy, funds, time and most of all --- heart.

It is so touching to watch all the villagers who had to live under the darkness and also what you had to undergo to bring the light to them. At first, i think the electricity system as usual will be used in this project. However, solar system is amazing choice and effective to local area and people. Reliable and useful and quickly setup energy source to light up the darkness. Bravo BWAP of My Linh Do - Vietnam
