Thank you Samy and an amazing effort to find these budget places :) in the heat. Thanks again. based on all 5 hotels Best Budget Hotel goes to ->> May Beach. Had safety box, closet, good bathroom and a best dark room to sleep :) also location was the best. And to top it all they even have massage service in your room :) :) All other hotels had some issues - most had no safety box, wet bathrooms. one even included free mold and mildew and the first hotel didn't have a closet :) Well for a budget under 20$ you cant expect too much but the May Beach hotel was the best :)
Great content Samy. Could you review Tam House Villa Hotel. I stayed there a couple of years ago with family and it was fantastic. The pool was the best I’ve seen. Little bit more expensive but for a family it was brilliant.

May Hotel "It doesn't have a pool" *However* the Cicilia Hotel next door DOES have a decent rooftop pool, and no one will check if you are actually a guest if you head up to use it. Just buy a drink from the rooftop bar if you are feeling like a criminal.
I liked the May beach hotel but I checked and it goes up to $15 at the end of Nov when I arrive. The first place that was an apartment was nice, but no closet so no thanks. So I liked the Menora Grand the best, it goes for $17 at the end of Nov

these are low season prices i'm guessing because i checked rates in january for Menora and Cherry hotel and its more than double the prices you are getting...... Nice places though
January is still low season :) it really Depends on the dates. Great reviews and fantastic information but why as German are you quoting prices in American dollars. It would be so much easier to understand if you quoted prices in Euro
Thank you so much. Why USD? Because of my audience… More than half is from the US and the rest is mixed out of Australia Canada and the UK all countries that also usually know their conversion to USD :) I just checked and Germany and Euro as a currency is 3% :(
Because it's the global currency and the de facto second currency of Vietnam. If I am an Australian married to an Indonesian who lives in China and can deal with thinking in USD, then you can too - just subtract 10% off the $ amount to get it in Euros. Simples.
