Is this PS3? The only g-pad I'd consider playing Tekken with are official Sony controllers. I have this game for 360 and use a full Seimitsu modded Madcatz stick (like old Japanese arcades).

He's not low-tier, he's mid-tier. The reason he's not overly good is his launchers aren't that good when you're comparing it with EWGF. His d/f.2 won't launch if crouched (IMO this is his best launcher however. His u/f.4 is a great launcher but it's hard to use properly. His corner carry is God-like but it lacks real damage if you get to the corner quickly. He's really good at poking and a good poking Lee is hard to defeat.
All right , BUT I have MY OWN WAY and you are NOT right , Violet and Lee are BEST Partners for Each other . They have their Same Moves that make their Combo Beautiful . It's like Twin Brother or clone that Help Each Other .
There is NO ONE will be Better than Violet to be Lee's Partner . They are like Twin and their Movement Blend Each Other SO Damn Well ^_^ One of the BEST Tag Team Ever :)

Lars is a better partner. It's also worth noting at using clone characters is a huge no-no in TTT2. If I know how to beat Lee, I know how to beat Violet. You're at a huge handicap if you use clone characters. Also, remember, combos don't mean they are good teammates. It's about synergy.
I'm not saying "use Lars to win" I'm just saying you're a fool to say clone characters constitute the best teams. They might have good combos but they do not cover each other well at all. Lee is good at poking but isn't good at the range game. If your opponent keeps you out, you'll lose. Violet can't help that, but other characters can force themselves in. As I said before even FightingGM has to replace Violet sometimes when the opponent blows up Lee/Violet. It's not uncommon at all.

They are the same.

during mist step, you can sway back by pressing back. at the immediate beginning of the sway press 2,3 and it does the while standing 2,3.
