The year was 2008. I was just an 8 year old boy with a brand new PSP. I'm in the backseat of our car while my parents drive us home from the city for two hours. I'm playing Ghost Battles and this stage and its music comes in. Crazy how I didn't think that a memory that small was anything special back then, but whenever I listen to this song now, it just reminds me of that small moment in my childhood and it makes me miss it. EDIT: Really happy T8 came on PC with Jukebox! Set this as the music for Yakushima (with T5 version as climax)
It’s a really good song! I’m sure a lot of people here are on a nostalgia trip. But for me I didn’t appreciate this song till waaaay to late. It’s been so long since I played this, but this song is truly a work of art.
My cat fell asleep to this song, his paw resting on my arm. As he drifted off, his paw slowly slipped, leaving a trailing scratch, until it had fallen back under him. Maybe because of the ethereal melody of this song, in that moment, I realized that innocent action mirrored our life together; should we both live our lives naturally, he'd lean on me for support for rest of his life until it's his time, leaving nothing but a mark on my soul as he hopefully passes peacefully. Should life permit, I'll return to this song one day with a broken, somber heart... but hopefully, one that's also full of good memories with him.
Ambient Surreal beautiful music with a stage that looks similar to Black Panther's ancestral plane. I was a teenager when I played this game and loved it.
