Circular swipe looks like a shell… Definitely ocean vibes, and both of the pieces
The spin swipe is so pretty with the color shift. The 2nd one I love how the background spiral is giving it a 3D look. Both paintings are gorgeous!!

WOW! They're both beautiful, but I love the second one. The darker, defined circular rings with the lacy, colorful swipe running diagonally across it, jumping out from the canvas. It's really stunning.

Wow! The second one! It looks like it’s coming out of a hole in the canvas. Wow wow wow!!! Now let’s see it in the beautifully dark pinks that I loved. The first one was beautiful but the second, definitely go with it again ❤️💗💕

Oh, I LOVE these pieces!! Well done! I see and embryo in the circular one and, if the "head" of the creature in the square one hadn't been so square it looked like a swaddled baby with the embylical cord still attached coming from the "oops blk umbra"... like conception and emergence... just stunning! Wow Jodie the colour shifting of these colours is stunning! And the shimmer especially noted on the second swipe, which is my favourite. That dark umber swirl in the background finishes it off incredibly, at least I think so. 👀🎨🥰

I watched Erica Hughes the other day and she's experimenting by mixing pigments with tube paint to achieve certain colours. It would definitely be worth trying your idea of pigment with pigment. Isn't it just fantastic when the ooopsie turns out so brilliantly, I have every faith in you that you can to do it again 💖

Jodie, those are great! I thought I would like the first one the most, but after seeing the second one, I like it best. When you first did your background whirl on the second one, it reminded me of seeing something in orbit. I agree with you that it does look like it's coming out of the spiral. Very nice...it's a winner winner chicken dinner, for sure!! 💙 Also, on your first piece, I absolutely love the effect of the background of your spinner combined with the piece.
