Good luck Sue I have enjoyed watching your character in Corrie and will miss you. You are a great actress, totally believable in the roles you play. I thought you were lovely before you lost weight and equally so afterwards, how you lost weight was your business. I think 70% of the female population have tried one way or another to achieve it, to learn that illness was the cause must have been an eye opener for a lot of people! Ever since she’s been on loose women and doing theatre work it’s felt like shes been a guest star in Corrie every so often. But judging by the quality of Corrie for last 2 years I’m not surprised she’s leaving. The cast is too big and not enough rotation. soap actors get theatre work etc because they’re known for being in a soap but once they quit the offers also dry up and then only offered panto. She’s lucky her husband still works full time so she can afford to not work if that happens.

The cost of inflation making soaps will be the demise of them…besides streaming has become popular…and a lot of young people no longer watch tv..they are on RUclips and various social media platforms that take up their time.
Who will take over Eileen’s house, with its ever expanding invisible bedrooms upstairs?? 😂 Actually kind of pleased to see that character go, as long as it clears the way for Mary to be George, as it should have been! They would go together like … florists & undertakers! ❤💐🪦

I love Sue's character and sense of humour, a true Corrie legend, gonna miss her.
