The RX 7900 XTX performs better with Ray Tracing set to Ultra at native 4K, than my RX 6900 XT did at 1440p with Ray Tracing set to High.
7900xtx is more powerful but in this game RT is almost unnoticable, almost no difference between RT OFF and RT ON
@@BigBoss-fk6un The RTAO is noticeable. The Sun Shadows and local Shadows not so much.
Biggest difference i noticed was ray traced ambient occlusion and contact shadows beneath the soldiers helmet at 9:03.
RT In this game it's a scam
I don't notice much of a difference between them, aside from the massive fps hit with RT enabled.
I notice the RTAO the most.
Shadows and AO are definitely the more subtle RT effects, especially in a game that already has good baked lighting AO, and okay shadows. Very noticeable if you know where to look, but performance is gonna be more important.
This game has never had well-optimized RT, which in many cases does nothing. And it can even outperform the RTX4090 without DLSS
They look exactly the same no matter rt preset in terms of reflections. but shadows are a bit softer with rt enabled.
There is no RT reflections in this game. Only Sun Shadows, Local Shadows and Ambient Occlusion.
Not a lot of apparent ROI for RT in games like this where they take such pains to make good lighting and shadows for the non-RT settings. Full path tracing is where the real improvement is.

@@Bang4BuckPCGamer cyberpunk is an interesting example. In some areas, there's literally no discernable difference. In others, the light bounce effects change the whole scene to be more atmospheric and moody.
Is it me still see no difference with ray-tracing enabled
what is your SoC voltage for 7950x3d?
1.2v maybe. I have not been in my bios for a while. Why do you ask?
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer just interesting how you have reached 6200mhz with cl28. I have 64gb ram with 7950x, 2 sticks of 32gb acer predator palas II 6000mhz cl30 and I can't even reach stable 6000mhz cl28
@@BigBoss-fk6un My Ram speed of my Dimms are 6400Mhz CL32. I just clocked them down and tightened the timmigs.
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer my dimms are 6000 CL30-38-38-78 but I just have reached stable only 6000 CL30-36-36-48 with trfc 360. 6000 CL28-36-36-48 trfc 400 was stable with memtest 10.6 free. But in memtest pro 10.7 this settings are unstable and there are errors. I don't see any noticable difference between 6000 CL30-36-36-48 with trfc 360 and 6000 CL28-36-36-48 trfc 400. In both cases I don't exeed 1,35v for RAM but yours 6200 CL28 is so perfect result
@@BigBoss-fk6un You are not going to get anything special done with that low voltage. 1.45v is a safe limit for DDR5
Awesome that AMD can do raytracing however, still doesn't worth with all that hit to performance..
