Your confidence level is through the roof! Your flying is SO much better!! You talk about “cross controlling” is a bad thing. Can be but not always. If you want to do a flatter turn and lose less altitude, cross control. Later when you start thermaling you will learn this…if your thermal is big enough. If you need a sharper turn and or you want to lose altitude, yes, don’t cross control. Excellent job!!!! Fun to watch you get better and enjoy this fantastic sport even more!!
😳 Ok! That’s pretty cool to know, never heard that but I guess that makes sense😃 Although winter months are ahead of us, I hope I get to experienced thermal soon. Thank you so much for your supportive comment☺️
Hi Nano! Steve is so right and a good instructor! You did great and you were so relaxed! And you reached over 1000 feet to! Soon you'll be soaring like an eagle in the sky🦅😁 Enjoy! ATB.
Thank you for your comment. Steve’s instruction is so valuable. There’s never been a time that something went wrong by following his instructions. Times that things went weird had always been due to my poor decision making or “brain-farting”… I gained some confidence in these three tows, I just need to not give too much gap between this and my next flight session so I get the momentum going.
That was really great. The demo at the start gave a good picture of how the tow works, thank-you. And you got to use your "shadow glider"! Very much enjoying your journey. I agree, changing one thing at a time is all I can handle, too.
Aw thank you for checking this one out too. I know it’s a longer one but glad you liked it. I love my flying dude. He’s my good luck charm😉 yes, one things at a time… flying is such a humbling activity.
Nah, I wanted a calmer non-active air to fly in so this was perfect for me. Steve said I can start flying a little earlier to practice in more active air though. I’m taking tiny baby steps so I don’t freak myself out.

Yeah! I loved the demo. That really helps me understand what is going on that you don't get to see from the gopro videos.

Nice 4pm maybe late in the days for thermals, but did you feel any?
