I made a launch escape system where in case the first stage fails, the second stage will separate and it’s stage engine will carry the rocket into a safe distance away from the launchpad and debris. It would then separate from the payload, and I can then safely open the parachute
Edit: for those who don’t know: no, I don’t have the Redstone/Atlas pack, so I don’t have any other option than using the second stage as an escape system

@@erner_wisal well I can’t build the launch escape tower without it weighing at least 200 tons. Unless I have the Redstone/Atlas pack, I can’t build a launch escape tower. So I used the second stage as an escape system.

First stage goes boom boom
Second stage flies with the payload
Payload says bye bye to the second stage
Payload casually deploys parachutes (if it had any, if not, I’m fucked), and returned to earth safely and ready to be reused
