Some of the suppliers are now resetting them so you can just add the prox that was used on another car. This machine is surprisingly good for the cost.
Can you do a video on Vw pulling the pin and programming. Some of the terminology they use on this machine is unclear unless you have used some of the other tools out there.
Also can you film the next time you program a Hyundai prox. Pulling the pin was were I got stuck but I was able to get the pin from a dealer.

That 2020 landcruiser will program no problem
First of all, I would like to congratulate you for your video, it is very good. If it will not bother you, I have some doubts that, maybe, you could help to clarify
1) Initially you said you want to add a refurbished, used, smart key. What you mean by refurbished, used ? If tyhis key was used, was this key unlocked to allow writting ?
2) I read that this vehicule' key uses a Texas 128 transponder, is it right ? If it is the case, do you know a tranasponder that can clone this transponder ?
3) The Toyota, initially, was not on the "all keys lost" condition, right? So, you used the Xtool Auto Pro Pad to bypass the protocol, reset ecu, and put the ecu on the condition of "all keys lost", is it right ?
4) When the car is on the condition of "all keys lost", you programm the used smart key that you wanted to add, after that done, you turn back on menu and add the previous smart key( the key that was working before you reset the ecu), is it right ?

I've done this process a hundred times now and I'm using an autel autopropad xtool ive gone thru all of the steps deleting all existing keys first and then programming in the new keys it says that it was successful but when I go to turn off the ignition the green key lights flashs for a second then it turns off go to start the car and nothing if I go into system programs and try to go to immobilizer thru that way it says that it can't connect im not sure what to do next get a whole new ignition and try that i guess

I bought a 2016 jetta 1.4 from auction, car have not ECM, I bought a compatible ECM from a 2017 roll over jetta at the junk yard, now immobilizer is activated ans can not start the car, I saw a xtool 100 pro for 235 on ebay, you think it can reset the ecm to my car? Or at least get both pins, ecm and car to doit with vag com cable and software?
You will need coding and pin from the original module as well as the pin from the used/new module. If you do not have, then it is not possible.
Alex, I bought 2008 toyota highlander hybrid from auction with no key and no ecu. should i have to reset the ecu first ? firs t time try to do it.

the fob for my 2007 prius stopped working. i got one from amazon with the same FCC. One locksmith guy came and tried to reprogram the key. He said he was able to reset the ECU but cannot program the key. it says failed. Another locksmith tried his xtoll and cannot access and his tool keeps on saying failed. what to you think happened here and can you help me please.

I think I have a similar issue, I tried to do this myself and accidentally erased all the key codes instead of adding a new key first. What should I do? Is there a way for the ECU to re-boot and learn to pair with a brand new key if there is no back up in it's memory?
Parents lost keys for 16 RX350 and it was locked in their driveway. Broke in and alarm went off. Removed fuses for horn and s horn. Using Toyota Techstream. How to reset security? Any ideas? Communication only to Gateway

How do you know what proximity type key to use as I know there are a few different types for different vehicles. Also pad2 asks what proximity type eg 1-8. Where can I find the information?
Is not a (all keys lost) situation this is a ADD KEY ONLY.
To clarify. The key we have is a used key. You cannot program a used key doing an add smart key procedure. You have to use this procedure in order to make it work.
