  • An exclusive Sky News/YouGov poll has found people’s trust in politics is collapsing.
Figures show it’s felt particularly in the north of England where 86% of voters think politicians don't care about them.
Our People and Politics Correspondent Nick Martin has been to Grimsby, one of Sky's target towns, to find out why this is happening.

Perhaps because the public are fed up with being lied to by politicians, fed up with politicians that couldn't care less about Britain & only interested in furthering their own careers & promises made at election time that never materialise after the election has gone.

There were plenty of politicians who warned the people that Brexit would be a stupid mistake. The people chose to believe the liars.
These very same people now complain that politicians are liars.
