I did get it tight (belt instead of latch, which was annoying) but the design of having to put the seat cover back on when installed is completely asinine and never should have made it to production. If the seat is tight enough, you can’t actually put the seat pad all the way back on. And storing the manual where it can’t be accessed during installation or when it’s installed? NOBODY thought this would be ridiculous? Thanks for the old, semi-relevant installation guide though.

You can't tell me this humongous gap from tilting it and the seat barely touching on the corner to get the correct angle is safe! No matter how much you tighten it, if it gets knock forward it completely loose!! Absolutely unsafe. Hate that I wasted money on junk engineering for the most important thing in my life.
I thought I must be missing a piece! The huge gap for the rear facing is so unsafe! It comes completely forward and sideways and is no longer level. My old car seat had an adjustable base so the car seat would sit level on the seat. This car seat is junk.
I'm having that problem too which is why I searched for this video. I thought maybe somehow I was doing something wrong. But nope, I did it just like this and it's still so easy to move.
@@alexandrahernandez2342 I tried reinstalling so many times and thinking I almost got it and then shaking it once and having it come completely loose that I was kind of horrified that it’s even legal for them to sell it. If it comes loose the seat going to be smacking your kid around the back of the car. I went and got a Graco car seat. I’ve bought one before and it was great. Just bought another which is also great. Graco is the way to go.

In the video anchoring is not correct unless the front seat is moved forward. How is the driver suppose to use the seat to drive?
They don't lol, fortunately I'm small and short that I can barely drive. Knees almost touch the dashboard. Very uncomfortable.

I knew I couldn’t be alone in this. Looks like if we got into an accident it would fly ALL OVER and against the side of the car.

Yeah if it moves at all forward it comes COMPLETELY LOOSE. NOT SAFE AT ALL.
