they need to bring back a dgpt event at the fort, so much history and proves a bit of a challenge for the pros.

agreed but I feel like there definitely needs to be some course changes especially with hole 11

Yeah, they definitely need to bring the tour back here for an elite series event! And if they do an elite plus or major, they should use Schneiter’s Bluff golf course along side it which is an awesome course, and they could really turn it into a pro level course for a big event.

Absolutely bring the fort on the pro tour. It's proven to be a tougher course.

Absolutely the tour needs to come back to Utah! The race for the honey is the best! A tournament featuring the fort and one of our mountain courses would prove to be a significant challenge and really show the elite skill of the pro players! Thanks Terry!

Course is too flukey. Lines just aren’t there on too many holes. Reminds me of Dela. It’s just a novelty compared to a lot of the newer courses on tour. And no I I’m not talking about the golf courses.

Absolutely, I can’t believe that the worlds and drama here was such a big part of disc golf growth. Crybabies like mcbeth don’t like elevation that’s why they wont

    • @jaronau

@@nickknight2733 the lines are there on every hole besides maybe 11. People just don’t like that the line might be 200-300 feet down the fairway instead of a gap right off the tee then wide open like modern courses. The fort forces players to truly consider their abilities off of tee shots. Either go for the gap down the fairway and get punished or layup and take your pars. True skill, not just blast something hard through a gap 20 feet away. Plus the greens are very challenging with their trees surrounding some pins.

I think they would need to do a bunch of work to get this on the tour. The fairways would need to be grass not all dirt. The course to me did not look great on camera, but it might be due to lack of rain. The famous fence looked damaged, there was a giant pile of debris in one of the holes. Seeing pics of these European courses, American courses have a ways to go to look pristine. I get Utah isn’t the most lush environment but I think we as fans should expect more from tour courses as the sport grows. Thank you Terry for these videos.
