22:25 This part of the podcast really spoke to me because I dealt with an ex that was constantly asking for me to show him pictures of my body so much that it never really seemed like he could just love me for me as a person and after telling him several times that my Christianity is the very reason I refuse to show him those pictures he completely ignored it and kept asking me to do it. I just needed that verification that he was wrong and I was right.

Finding my self and knowing my worth through Christ has finally made me see that I will not share my body with any other man besides my husband. My soul is too pure, precious and beautiful for any man other than my future husband.
James 4:7 is key but many times we skip the 1st part of it and only focus on the other half. It says "Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee." This indicates an order of events in which we must FIRST submit to God. In doing this, He gives us the wisdom/direction on how to resist the devil in those moments and it also gives Him a voice into the situation to remind you of who you are in Christ and that Jesus has already set you free from all of it (John 8:31-32, 36: If you abide in My Word then you are My disciples indeed, and you will know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free... Therefore if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed). Resisting could look like Riley said, calling a friend who then advised going for a run; it could be pray in the Holy Spirit until it passes; go do that laundry you've been procrastinating on; read your Bible, etc. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man (as in humanity); but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. God is not the author of temptation, but He will not allow more than you can handle (He believes in the ability He placed in you to walk victorious in every area of your life because Jesus already paid for it and provision has already been made available to you). He is ever present to help you every step of the way so you're never alone. But you have to be willing to trust Him and be willing to say no to your flesh/feelings/thoughts and yes to His leadership. Believe that His way is always best and that His Word really does work when you do what it says. 😊

I want to add an additional note of encouragement and truth to this beautiful podcast almost 2 years later. Once you start to quit masturbation and go without for your first 15 to 25 days, you will get "wet dreams" again. This happens for both men and women and is the natural way that your body releases that stuff. This is not sin I repeat this is not sin and don't let satan trick you into thinking it is. When this happens you are on the right track, so rejoice in your freedom and keep going.
Even when I was in the world, the girl that I was with wanted me to put adult movies on so we can watch together and I told her that I didn’t want to do that, she looked at me, gave me a big hug and said, “You really do love me”. That’s just how I saw it, I saw it as part of unfaithfulness if I did that. God bless.

If anything, this is more of a female issue than a male issue because men generally prefer partnered activity, while women generally prefer solo activity.
