10:21 - Shape Mask & Adding Image Outline - Alex, thanks for detailing those steps. You may want to just include a video on how to make Thumbnails. I used these 2 steps to create my own thumbnails. I figured there must be a way with native Mac OS apps to achieve all this, without going to PS or additional software. You lay things out so easy, and methodically. This is the first video i've watched of yours, but i made sure to subscribe and will browse through your channel. This was very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I'm in for a pound, my videos will definitely evolve over time, using your techniques. Cheers.

Hello, yes this is posible, right click the object/image/whatever you want to link to a youtube video and many options will show up, look for a 'link' option and the click 'Webpage' add the link and that's it, when you click the object it will take you to the link you put in.
Hey David...great stuff! Is there a way to add multiple video to play on multiple slides from start to finish. I am recreating the Brady Bunch intro as a birthday gift and need all the videos to play from beginning to end and not start over every time the slide changes. Creating the 9 cube design using Keynote was a blast....it came out great...Unfortunately...each video in the boxes created jump around when the slides change...Any helpful info I can use? Thanks!
Hi Dave: I like to make all my photos 1280 x720 in photoshop before I take them to Keynote so they fit the way I want them. Thanks for the demo. Photos in Raw do not fit, do I have to do it this way? I only do slide shows, no music, no videos just old fashion Powerpoint. Gary from Michigan 🚂

Hello David, 1st TY so much for this tut, incredibly helpful --of course! What version of Keynote/Mac have you? I'm on MBPro 10.13.6 ( I need to update, haven't taken the time.) & KN 9.1. My version looks so different from yours? @ 8:08, adding my own photo as a background, not sure what I'm doing wrong but I do not get any TINT over my added photo to make my text stand out? It's just the normal photo, & is there no way to SCALE this background photo? The SCALE feature is GRAYED out so I am not able to resize this image? Tks in advance for any input/help! :)
When I go to "Customize Presenter Display," the slides from the presentation go to full screen. I cannot see the customize tool box to make any changes...HELP!!
It used to be that when I opened up different Keynote files, they would open up in different tabs in the same window. But after having to wipe my computer and then re-download Keynote, now they all open in separate windows. How do I get it back to opening in tabs?
This is a GREAT tutorial! I have a weird question. I'm using my keynote presentation and exporting it into Screenflow, where I'll add my audio from garage band- (where I get the best sound with my lavalier mike) or a video of me (using a teleprompter- my memory is awful for text!). I have purchased and also downloaded free photos. The eventual movie format is 1920 x 1080. WHY are the photographs offered in 1920 x 1280?? They are 200 pixels too high to fit in the Keynote and other movies! How do you handle that? Any suggestion are greatly appreciated! It's a huge waste of time to edit the pictures.

You are covering features with many fairly complicated features and yet you talk so fast that the details all just start to blur together...it's almost as if you are on speed!
