Welp ima whole clown
I was more shocked than sad as well tbh🤷🏾♂️
After this is where the series gets good... Also the author of the manga confirmed that there was a way for them to get through this game without any of them dying.
@@blazingace1699 what was it
@@tyrique_04 it could be what roshi said in the reaction, it could be your reflection, if all of you stare at the reflection of each other, could be in the water or the mirror, you could beat the game.
@@miraii8322 that doesn’t make sense though, let’s say you all stared at the water, the one who is the wolf will still lose the wolf position.
Squid Game: “We made everyone cry at episode 6”
Alice in Borderland: “Why wait till episode 6?”
10th like
I'm cold then because I didn't cry for this. Episode 6 meant you got to know the characters well in Squid Game because you had time with them. I wasn't attached to anyone in this at episode 3. I mean it was sad but not a tear jerker for me
Yooo😂. This show said “bet hold my beer”
@@gemelwalters2942 Same here. It was sad in this episode, but I didn't feel it deeply, like I did with Squid Game.
@@gemelwalters2942 it like that to some because people be trying to guess how to survive the game but overlooked the emotional aspect of it , my opinion , majority of reactors have the same reaction as u
My man put his SOUL into those screams at the end 😭

hes honestly such a great actor
Exactly. Shows how powerful actor he is.
Omg yes. He is a really good actor
!!!
Idk what it is about japanese acting but their screams irl or in anima are always top tier goddamn
They really sell that scream of agony and despair
👌👌👌

@@lil_cunni he probably means kuina
Because their language sounds cool
“Are they really about to clap them on episode 3?” The exact same shit I told myself when I was watching it
I thought that too, but then honestly, since the show felt like a live action anime (I know it's based on a manga) and then my thought process went to - Arisu's the main character and he'll make it through. Not his friends that we only saw for these few episodes and we only now just get more of a deeper connection with their bond with those flashbacks.
@@Rakerong everyone knew the main character would survive that’s obvious. The plot twist is that his friends actually died and he couldn’t find a way to save the day.
@@zavthe1371 in the manga, I think it hitted harder, cause they expanded on their backstories a lot more, and even tho arisu was definetely the protag, chota, and specially karube had so much screen time, it was kinda unexpected that they would get clapped
Same when reading the manga! Knowing there was like 18 volumes, I couldn't fathom that they'd actually kill off 3 of the only main-secondary so early in the story (Usagi's first appearance is actually right after this game in the manga, so the only significant characters at this point in the story are the four).
I like how it seemed like the show was building up Chota to *betray* his friends for Shibuki, yet he came thru the most out *anyone* - initially to be the most selfless to help Arisu get the chance to live. Karube and Arisu even showed moments for their survival instincts to kick in to look out for themselves first, while Chota accepted fate early to try to help his friends.
I mean, bro was handicapped lol, I don't think he had much chance of survival here. You right though, that's what the set up felt like, and then it's a game of betrayal. But Chota also seemed to be the weakest player in terms of self preservation. In the first game, after the first flames shot through from the floor, you best bet I'd be fast on my feet and not get my leg burnt to a crisp like that.
But Karube and Arisu and Shibuki all had the right instincts to survive. It wasn't until the end that they realize what they needed to do, and let the most capable survive and accept their fate.
@@Rakerong He didn't have to go out of his way to stop Shibuki for example, even with his messed up leg... He could of just sat down and let the others fight it out, but he didn't.
This was even more heartbreaking in the manga imo, the sheer amount of detail in the faces made it so unnerving

Roshi thought they gonna win with the Power of Friendship 🤣

this was a direct adaptation of manga, power of friendship is only in Batle Shounens.and that depends of Battle Shounen.
This is where the 3 part OVA originally ended. As tragic as the episode was, I'm happy that Netflix picked up the series so that the story continues.
bro I didn't even know that existed, I thought this was the first time it was picked up.

@@dkyeomz It's short for "original video animation" also sometimes known as an OAV. Basically it's an anime that is released straight to video and not shown on television.

Sheep-Wolf Cutting Solution
A HIGHLY POPULAR THEORY, this solution revolves around the fact that if a sheep were to cut the wolf’s wire, then it wouldn’t explode, since the wolf’s collar is the one with no risk of explosion. Therefore cutting the wolves wire connected to the collar is the safest method of disabling the risk of the collar itself. After having it wire cut, the wolf should transfer their role to a sheep, where they will do the same. Once 3 players have had their wires cut, it will be complete (The final person will have the wolf role so theirs doesn’t need to be cut). This solution may also be hinted towards, as during the rule demonstration, all the sheep were drawn ‘hiding’ behind the wolf, which suggests the sheep behind the wolf to dismantle its collar, not to hide.
Wow, I didn't think about this. I thought that they can dismantle the sheep's collars because there is no rule that prevent it.
IMO
those theory only bring the lost which result 4 died.
dismantle wolf’s collar -> explosion,
the wolf can't change due to no eye contact to sheep.
if those theory Sheep-Wolf Cutting Solution work, I would change from 7 heart into diamonds or club
I assume u have watch 1 season.
why "game maker" would let special condition that participant 7 heart, all survive?
if I were "game maker" I would reveal game is 7 heart when
1. the participant are one group, and not combination of stranger like ep1 or ep2
2. the game is clear, 1 live and rest died. and it would suit theme of heart card, since condition no 1 is filled.
@@ganipra7402 Well the author aof AiB did say unless the rules state otherwise or someone has to die to get into the game there is a way for everyone to survive.
Having said that I have to agree with what someone else said in the comments here that maybe they could have survived if they cut the wires of the collars before putting them on. This could be in line with the rules you just theorized and give meaning to the 2 min timer to put the headset on, meaning they were screwed because they just put the headset on.
@@ganipra7402 This may be a spoiler, so you're free to ignore it.
Later in the manga, the queen of hearts reveals that she made this game specifically to mess with Arisu, since it relies so heavily on testing their friendship.
Most heart games deal with trusting other players' decisions and judgement, that's why the wire cutting theory is the most accepted, since you'd have to trust the other players into cutting the link between the collar and the goggles. If it goes well, everyone lives. If it doesn't, everyone's screwed since the wolf is dead.
there was also another solution where all the sheep looked at the wolfs eyes at the same time through a reflective surfaces either tools or the water...i think arisu figured it out later in the manga or im misremembering
Okey but the actor who plays Alice is amazing at acting, that cry at the end remembered me to Collete in Hereditary. Jeesh, I feel you guys, I couldn't stop tearing up
Kento Yamazaki is a great actor. Well, he is known as an Anime live action king as he played numerous live action anime.
God that Hereditary scene.
You should also trie your lie in april!!! He was also the main character there
arisu's scream at the end was so heart-wrenching wtf
i swear.. i got chills
Mental note: If I’m ever trapped in a death game, my friends and I are splitting up.
To hell with that, we going out together and my last words would be “ if you die, I want you to know I’m beating your ass for eternity cause you choked at the finish line.”😂 One of us is bringing home that W.
What if you're in a team game and you want people you can trust and are reliable tho?
@@clevelandbrown4571 neither me nor my friends are trustworthy or reliable.😂 If we win, we’ve got a guardian angel working their ass off for us.
@@classicghostrider2715 that’s just sad
@@JulyIzHere true, but how many of us are really equipped for a death game? I’m just saying, I’m probably not lasting long.
Roshi: "Episode 2 was wild bro like the wildest game of tag ever!"
Me: "Oh boy..."
I mean, it certainly was the wildest game of tag
MANNNNNNN that cry at the end still gets me, great actor can literally hear the pain in his voice.
FR
Yes for real!! 🔥😭
The way Kento Yamazaki cried and carried this episode with his emotions. The crack in his voice and his expression is everything. Really proves that he really is a great actor.
So the writer of the show said that there is a way that everyone can survive in all the games unless death isn't required to start the game or death is involved (like they HAVE to kill someone) but for this game, the writer didn't say what the solution was for them all to survive. He likes the thought of letting the audience have their theories. I heard some say, like Roshi, that they could have done something with reflection and others say that if Arisu didn't look at anyone, in the end, they would've survived but he saw Karube in the end. Also, there's one that the tools on the table were tools for dismantling, as Karube said. They weren't tools typically used for killing so some speculate that they could have taken the collars off and it wouldn't have exploded.
The reflection thing doesn't hold up in my opinion, the rules clearly state only 1 person can be the wolf. The only way I can think of passing this game without a death is for them to remove the collar from the rest of the headset before ever putting them on, had Arisu paid more attention he could've made the connection that the collars were the same as the taggers and thus decide to preemptively remove it. I love thinking of all the possible ways of passing this game but it bothers me knowing we'll likely never know XD
@@DazHotep6EQUJ5 yeah, dismantling the collars probably the best way to beat this game. But I think the play here is there is not enough time to dismantle everyone's collar.
@@DazHotep6EQUJ5 oooh I never thought about them dismantling the collars before putting them on. That's a good one
Thats intersting. What if the tools were there dismantling but only the wolf could do it.
Would mean with everyone having the device off their neck they’re safe but could also prevent the wolf from transferring.
And if youre not the wolf maybe you need the other 3 to help get it off?
@@giocatic7610 but if you remove the collar before ever starting the game then time isnt an issue.
his screaming got me i remember sobbing I couldn’t believe they actually died
Roshi got hired by a circus this video lmaoooo
Lol your comment reminds me of their skit
no joke, the amount of survivors guilt you'd have with "winning" this game is crazy.. after seeing the groups reaction it's scary to image how they would react if they had to play this round together.
bruh it *hit* when i understood what the actual game was when i watched it the first time round. from them hunting the 'wolf' down to karube and chota ended up hiding and arisu seeking like how the game was meant to be played from the start and the realisation was jut peak
absolutely incredible episode
Squid Game episode 6 ruined me but THIS … this scene. In SG you knew some of them would die, they prolonged the inevitable throughout the whole episode (which made it that much more painful). But AiB caught me by surprise, and Arisu’s friends sacrificing themselves for him was just rough. Also this was only episode 3 like 😭
I cried so much during this episode honestly. The way they got me attached to this friendship/characters in three episodes and just ripped it away from me was BONKERS.
Losing your friends hits so different because they're literally the family you choose. The way his screams got louder was haunting.
Facts, this would destroy me, I wouldn't have the strength or will to live, horrible situation
When I first watched it I was convinced that him cutting off the gear would have saved them. To this day I still feel like it would have saved them. It HAD to be what the tools were for.
It probably would have; but in a high-stress situation you can't think the way you normally would. Even in the first game, Arisu was losing his shit till Karube literally knocked some sense into him - but in this game, every one of his support systems needed support too.
right, at least try it on the sheep that don't want to be the wolf to save the friend. Might as well try that if they're gona die anyway.
Since it was a game of hearts, the focus *would've* been on loyalty/betrayal. It doesn't make sense (at least to me) if they could've beaten it without that aspect in mind.
@@sushimaru926 I think the 'Loyalty' is them not immediately turning on each other and working together so they can dismantle the thing.
Nah.. i really think there's no way out. It would beat the whole theme of the heart game
When I tell you this episode broke me, it BROKE me. I was ugly crying after i watched it. To this day I still can't believe they died like that and on EPISODE 3 like come on I just started to show!
for many years i see sheera crying even she knew its coming
Damn, man. I've never seen Lupa get emotional like that. Respect. It's cool that the show affected him like that.
Then i'm guessing you are new lol Lupa has gotten emotional quite a few times, the only rare sight is when Roshi gets emotional (ahem A Silent Voice)
@@asdaasdee4442 yeah lupa gets emotional a lot
lol he gets emotional for many things actually
Sheera and Roshi are the ones who don’t get that emotional often😂
It was Sheera for me, she doesn’t usually cry cry, but here she couldn’t hold it in 🥺😭
For Arisu they’re more than just best friends. They’re like his brothers/family. Cause he was clearly ostracized by his family but it was because he has two of them that he was able to hang on.
sheera is the first reator i've seen realize the empasis on the hide well sheep. every other one thinks it's some kind of loophole but no it's emotional because a lot of people will play with their friends/comrades
The moment silence in the video when they saw all of Arisu friends die and all we could hear was Arisu's screams is just sad but also impactful.
Yamazaki Kento's acting is just so superb. The way he was screaming, you can feel all the anguish, the pain.
I watched this show when it came out but this episode traumatized me for life. That was really painful 😭
Painful but also brilliant. The way they set it up that the stakes are higher and anyone can die.
that South Park Timmy edit for Chota had me dying the whole time dawwwggg 😂😂
LOL right
I was looking for someone to say this 🤣🤣
I'm crying and its all Sheera's and Lupin's fault for making their tears contagious!

@@LoneVocalist ohhh you right she did cry a lot in that one too
I see that laughing is everyone's coping mechanism for this nightmarish episode.
They got me with "hide well sheep"
Kento Yamazaki's scream of pain and despair in the end. That literally hit me in the feels, it's so powerful.
Chapter 11 in the manga if anyone wants to compare the game to the tv show there were quite a few changes made for the tv show, like how in the end Arisa never sees any of them die since they stay hidden from him and he cannot bring himself to see their bodies in the end also the woman has a change of heart and runs and hides by herself and is not forced to do so, which is why she is so fondly remembered in future chapters as one of Arisa's closest friends. He even thinks of her all the way in the very final chapters of the series as one of the 3 he lost who were most dear to him.
imagine if Karube looked at Arisu at the last sec
"bye bitch" :)
Karube internationally avoided Arisu's eyes so Arisu would win.
"I think they all gonna win"
17:31 pain, i just know pain
Arisu’s acting is so good, it reminds me of Eren Jaeger’s scream.
In the manga, this was 13 chapters in. Seeing there was still 50 chapters, I did not want to believe that his friends literally died this early. Literally cried with Arisu.

Love how you guys are not afraid to show tears. Really enjoying your reactions to AiB so far!
Except roshi
Who's the new guy on your channels header? Your editor? Looks dope
Thats our editor!
The special thing about this game that follows the theme of "there's something more to each game" is that this game is about running away from the wolf to save someone rather than the wolf running away and hiding. It was just a play on the humanity of the game. Instead of trying to survive, you're trying to save one life.
no bc I remember sobbing out of my mind at 2 am, sobs racketing my chest and then contemplating if I should keep on watching it bc the level of heartbreak I went through was horrifying
From the moment I started watching this show, I got very strong Gantz vibes. Very similar heartfelt moments and dilemmas. Makes me wish they'd run a Gantz anime back fully accurate to the manga.
"well at least he didn't die a virgin"😹😹 this what me and my friends said lmao so true tho
The foreshadowing from episode 1 is crazy!
cried so bad this whole episode. cried the whole season
It’s my 5th time watching this episode and I still broke down especially when I saw y’all tearing up as well🥺🥺
Roshi and Lupa were basically me the whole time I watched this episode, hoping some kind of plot twist 😅
Also YamaKen's acting was so good

imagine arisu having trauma immediately from the 2nd game and it's followed by this... damn... i can't survive this.
Idc how many times I've seen this episode you'll always catch me crying like a baby at the end
This episode made me like Sheera and Lupa even more. They paid attention and realized what was going on and reacted accordingly.👍
They just really connect with the characters a lot of times, so it hits the hard when they're gone. While on the other hand roshi just sees them as actors and they're not actually dead, and he doesn't care all that much. He has to pretend to be sad FOR THE REACTION, which is really weird.
At the start of the video I was like: "ohh look at them so cute and innocent... They're not ready"
It’s his screaming that makes me cry
I'm loving your editor more and more. That scene where the main guy was yelling out and the editor timed it with you guys crying/reacting, that was so powerful. You deserve that spot on their header bro, you always get a laugh out of me
Lets be real if Roshi was in Arisu's position, the man would not hesitate to try to win.
Roshi would clap any and everyone he has to to win, while smiling in the process
This is how you solve it. Everyones got a phone. Take a photo of the wolf and on the count of three everyone makes eye contact with the image and thats a wrap. The wolf didnt see anyone, so there isn't a shift of roles. Nailed it.
I'm enyoing the reactions so much!!! you guys got into...
what i like about Alice is how the show is unpredictable.
If you knew the manga it doesn't end there Arisu will come into a room with a reward of a freaking sheep dish. Its like saying that's the reward for betraying your friends also like serving it to him with the memories of the others being the sheep
Yo.. wtffff
That is fucked up on a thousand levels.
I think one of the solutions to this game was that whoever was the wolf, one of the sheeps has to cut the wolves collar. Since the objective of the game is for the wolf to "win" they shouldn't be harmed, they repeat the process until all 3 sheeps collars are off. This is to suggest that the wolf isnt harmed and after dismantling the wolfs collar, a random sheep will then become a wolf.
Nah taking the collar off would kill them by laser.
Karube and Chota should have survived more episodes. Their friendship with Arisu is one of the best parts of the show
That scream from Kento Yamasaki feels so reaal and gives me goosebumps
Bruh roshi heartless af bruh damn 🤦🏾♂️ “blew that n***a out his shoes” read the room 😂😂
Those Timmy soundbites caught me off guard XD
I read this theory: Most of the "weapons" actually looked like tools. What if the 1st wolf was supposed to disconnect the collar from the headset using the tools laid out in the beginning. And it seems possible that the eye tracking device could function without the collar. Then once the first wolf disconnected his collar from the head gear he can then pass the wolf to the next sheep and help disconnect their collar and so on and so forth until 3 collars are disconnected and only one wolf remained. And I don't want to give anything away to those who haven't finished the series but with the dynamics of the game and creators it makes sense that there were only 4 headsets, and why exploding collars were used right after the tag game, and why it was even a hearts game to begin with.
U can see the pain on all of there faces
This is a call back to the first episode because Arisu’s friends said that he should not be hanging out with them. And this episode is them just forcing him to move on from them.
