Obviously it's very difficult. Seniors don't pay. If you don't have a family who is well off, you cannot practise. They won't pay and it's very hard to go court to court in Delhi without any money

I am a first generation lawyer practicing in Allahabad High Court. I cannot forget in my initial days of practice I used to visit far away districts to meet advocates practicing therein to get cases for High Court. There were few district court advocates who used to wipe their sweat with my visiting cards in front of me, few used to dig gold in their ears again with my visiting card and that too in front of me. Now I have more than 500 cases as an advocate in High Court and many of those 'harassing advocates' are my good friends.

Biggest problem first generation lawyer faces is that lack of contacting senior lawyers under whom one can practise. There's no proper mechanism and junior lawyers aren't even paid minimum wages.

I am First Generation Lawyer come from poor family and I only know how difficult is for me to practice,no senior gives any advice or time to me,they only gives advice either to their kids or female lawyer, people don't respect me because I don't have costly dress or phone even pens so more you show off more clients will be there, plus no money is there so its very very difficult to practice without any money or support because you are not getting any knowledge from any senior plus you don't have money for day to day expenses like travel, lunch, typing and printing then how you will feed your family.

Maybe. But mostly for law field.
I'm a first generation law graduate, i graduated in July this year, and since then I've been struggling to join a Senior. No Senior is willing to take as a trainee even though it's a requirement of our Bar in Pakistan to atleast work 6 months under a senior in order for filing intimation and getting license, but the seniors are so bitter that they are not even taking us in their chambers even though I don't ask for any kind of pay, i told them that I'll even manage my lunch on my own but still I'm not joined with a senior. It's been 3 months now and I've spiralled into depression and insomnia. Ooper se family ka pressure alag ha
Baqi jin logo ki family me pehle se lawyers thy ya un ki source/sifarish thi woh to baray aram se set b hochuke hain, intimation b file kr chuky hain and mazay me hain
