My dog broke his ankle once and me and my brother started to pray for him to fix his ankle and right when we finished our prayer our dog jumped up and started squealing and then walked away like nothing happened and his ankle was perfectly fine, God truly is amazing

Something happens when I listen to him that does not happen when I listen to anyone else. I really think God has a special anointing on this man. It says in Revelations that in the End of Days that God will pour out His Spirit on the Earth, and listening to Francis Chan makes me look forward to that day.

I've met this dear man at a spirit west coast some years back. I moved to CA to go to his SIMI VALLEY church. He moved away to SF when I moved. Missed him. He is looking to be around true Christ followers. Very rare in CA. Even my Phillipino wife was fake. I found this out in the first two weeks of being missionaries in Africa. Sad. Now I am terminal with colon cancer. Seeking Jesus for healing of my bladder or death. Can't wait to get back to Michigan after 13 yrs. Please pray for salvation for Josephine my wife.
If you are still alive I pray you get healed if that is God's plan for your life! If you have dies since this post 9 months ago..then I believe you are with God now! More orthodox preachers say this man is becoming a heretic. And so I shied away from him. But, I see a man who is vulnerable. Who is truly seeking after God. He's not sure of himself, but he is sure of God. And he's not afraid to be wrong as long as he is glorifying God. He truly believes in God's power, and mercy. I am ashamed I almost wrote this man off.
Aheretic because he calls out fake Christiams and mislead traditions within the church. He probably makes most pastors feel uneasy about their own leadership...so. "Heretic!"
The reason why other pastors give him a hard time because he knows Jesus and speaks truth.

I had heard some mainstream preachers criticize Francis . Then I started listening to him. He has inspired me. Renewed my faith and hope in preachers. Especially well-known preachers. Now I am suspect of those who criticize him.
So I watched this sermon this morning - because coffee goes well with Chan. I went about my day per usual, then I was putting my children to bed. My 4 year old was having a migraine, as she often does because of these pesky little benign brain tumors she has. She was crying and asked me to pray over her, so I put my hand on her head and her hand over mine. The feeling of the Holy Spirit healing someone through you is better than anything imaginable; it's incredible. It was a rather short prayer, but as soon as I said "In Jesus's Name Amen," she was in a deep sleep. God is indescribably amazing, but Chan does a pretty good job at explaining it

Sometimes I shudder when I hear Christians criticize and condemn each other. It makes me deeply sad. I worry that unbelievers will hear them and turn away from God.
I love and appreciate Francis Chan for focusing on God's greatness and love and on being true disciples. He stirs up passion, devotion in my heart for Jesus and love for others, especially brothers and sisters in Christ. I'll take that over backbiting and criticism any day and forever. Anyone who teaches me to walk in the truth and love of God is a blessing.
He loves his wife, loves his chruch, donates 90% God bless this man he has the Holy spirit. He truly understand and speaks the Gospel and truly loves people. What a Giant of Christ.

Francis has so many powerful, Spirit led sermons that speak the real truth.
Like a real Christian after God's heart he feels imperfect and that he comes up short, which is the sign of a man who knows and speaks the truth... and knows how much we lack in the presence of our Lord. Thankfully, the Lord sees us, and Francis with love and perfectness.
If he only knew his real impact.
I find it hard to listen/watch most other's sermons because they lack the passion and truth that Francis conveys. They hold back or give us the "watered down" version.
Francis is a fearless warrior in a broken world.
If I am wanting to hear the truth... the real truth and passion of our Savior, I long for Mr. Chan's passionate messages.

The idea we never listen to other Christians is false doctrine. It allows people to veer off and do whatever they want claiming “God allows it”. Counsel should match the Word and be “open to reason”.

Well for me Mr Chan delivers THE message of GOD. Showing himself as vulnerable and under Gods mercy with unrelenting passion and humility. I’m so thankful for Francis and his approach, his sermons have had me broken and rekindled a burning desire to become more Christlike and serve where there is need. Bless you brother❤

Lately I've been struggling on my next direction in life. It's funny after watching this video I took a nap, when I woke up Madagascar 3 was on.. "coincidence." I ended up watching all of it and at the very end of the movie the gang finally ends up making it back to their home in NY. The lion and the zebra say something along the lines of "NY seems so much smaller than it used to be. No matter how beautiful the murual, it still doesnt capture the real thing!" That's heavy.. once we fulfill Gods will for our lives coming back home, or living how we used to will seem so different, small even.. May sound silly, but I belive it's Gods way of saying take that risk, you will be so happy you did. 😊

I remember when I was in elementary school one of my friends invited me to this youth group retreat. I didn’t know anyone except for her and was feeling awkward. I remember that there was a speaker and then we all went back to the lodging and the leader started saying she felt the Holy Spirit was going to come over the room. She started singing a worship song and then it was as if a swift wind of pure emotion swept the room. We went from worship to sobbing, praying over people, laying hands, laughter. It was the most wild experience and Francis gave me chills talking about the healing of the toe story. Being in that wild space where the Holy Spirit really takes over. Thank you for that reminder! 🙏

That’s okay though! I myself have been going through something similar where I feel like I’m not involved or doing enough or praising God enough but I realized that I’m trying and that’s the first step, God can use anyone at anytime or any phase of their faith. It’s okay I think to talk to Him about it and say “God I’m sorry but I’m just not getting it or feeling it.” Just like you would in any human relationship.

I've asked for forgiveness but I am afraid to be left behind when the Lord comes. I've fell into the temptation of the flesh in lust with my ex girlfriend last night when I've been alone for 4 months after I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ 😢 I am sad as I am writing this down wiping my tears from my eyes. Samuel we serve a merciful God who is slow to anger. Our Heavenly Father is not sitting around waiting for us to fail so that He can whack us upside the head with a big stick. That is not who He is not even close. God is seeking our repentance, which means to change how we use to live and how we may have reacted to situations before we were saved by grace. God does not set us up to fail or tempt us beyond what we can handle. Samuel you need to ask God for forgiveness and then you need to ask the Holy Spirit for help and guidance in this situation. He Will help you if you ask with a sincere heart. Talk to Him please. Do not allow the spirit of fear or the spirit of shame keep you from going to Almighty God for help. Start listening to Dr. Charles Stanley. He is sound in his doctrine and teachings. Take it day by day Samuel. For that’s all that God gives us. One day at a time. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the root of why you sin in this area of your life. God gives us precepts and principles to live by only for the reason of protecting His children. Not to control us or have a reason to punish us. Remember this, there is only one god of this world that enjoys fear, shame, destruction, lies and wants to separate you from God. Dear Francis, you have blessed me in so many ways since I found you in the web years ago. I know that you are not around social media any more (I wished you were but I respect very much your decisions). Your book "crazy love" changed me because by helping understand how important is love in the supernatural, it showed me my indifference and my inner poverty. When I understood I cried and cried. Today I'm free from that indifference and I go around loving people and I can see the power of love. Your brokenness before GOD blesses me and I seek that brokenness in my own life. I wish I could talk to you about some projects I have in mind here in the Dominican Republic, they are a direct result of you crazy love for GOD. I love brother, thank you for giving us so much by modeling a REAL walk with the LORD.
God revealed himself to you through Francis. He is sth like an ambassador. It was an encounter with God, when you cried. You can talk to God by yourself, you don't need Francis. Just pray for it, get into the word and talk with him about your projects. The holy spirit is the creative one, as we could watch in the movie "The Shack" =)

Hey, you are not alone! But remember that He chose us at our worst, when we had no power and were still dead in our sin (Romans 5:6,8). How much more will He help us now, when we desire, through the Holy Spirit, to love Him? He doesn't forsake us in our weakness, He isn't ashamed of us (Hebrews 2:10).

There is hope. Keep pursuing God and just be real with Him - tell Him that you don't and even can't love Him enough, and He will help you!
I once heard a sermon that talked about the last chapter in John, where Jesus asks Peter if he loves Him. There are more Greek words for the word love, one of them being agape (unconditional, godly love) and philia (the love we have for friends and family). Jesus asks Peter if he AGAPE Him, and Peter replies: Yes, Lord, I PHILIA You. And the Lord doesn't get upset and He changes the word agape at the last question. God will take the love you have and multiply it if you are willing. Don't worry about anything, instead, pray about anything🤗

I was in tears this video, your words made me realize I have a relationship with god, I'm 36 and these past few months I've stumbled fallen. Was in a very scary place until today then I saw this video, I stopped in the middle and broke down and prayed to god like I never have. When you write God make sure you capitalize the 'G' because Jesus isn't small and we should love God first then our brothers and sisters in Christ. But I just wanted to say is that I understand how you feel in what you wrote down. I've stumbled more than once after my baptism in Jesus name back in May 31st. I've stumbled last night in temptation with the lust of the flesh but I know that God our Lord Jesus Christ will forgive me for it.

Am truly blessed by his sermons...can feel the Spirit of the Lord is moving around and speaking to me...simply amazing. Love you Jesus.
I am barely watching the first 7 minutes of the video and you can tell this man is truly from God. He is speaking of what he is experiencing with the Lord throughout a week of asking for more of Him, more of just the usual daily prayer/alone time with God. And as he speaks he begins to cry because of his eagerness to have God's presence and to feel/experience Him more. You can tell that he is speaking and praying as he would if he were alone with the Lord. He seems genuine and not caring for how he looks before people, not caring for eloquent words, but speaking naturally based on what He has experienced with God. I had hesitated to hear this man because I saw that many adore this man and follow him faithfully making him someone popular, which if and when I perceive this, I tend to think the worst like: what if he's one of those so-called Christians that only speak about "happy happy happy; everything's fine and dandy" type of message - BUT this initial thought of mine was wrong. The title drew me to finally hear him because it sends a challenge to examine oneself and whether they are in God or not, which is not usual for messages that come from popular Christian leaders (from what I've encountered). I recommend that others hear what this man has to say because it is based on His relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ (in other words, he lives it).

I so love this. The zoo analogy is spot on. As someone who came to Christ in my mid-30’s... I have seen and felt what Francis talks about. I so crave God like Francis craves Him. Individually and as a body, we as the Church have been given access to the IMMEASURABLE GREATNESS OF HIS POWER. And to whom much is given much is required.
Yes I know that feeling in his presence is where I want to be forever. Your in love with Jesus you have tasted his love and it's so powerful you hunger and want more and more he's drawing you closer closer to him and you can't get enough I know exactly that feeling.

I too have been agonizing over the lives of the lost souls and even the brothers and sisters in the church. I understand what it is like to feel that way before a Mighty and Holy God. Just to be in the presence of Christ and loved in such a way it is unbelievable. I watched this video and my heart leaped over and over. Thank you Jesus for Your death, burial and resurrection, because without that, we could not experience God in the fullness in which He intended! God bless and keep you all!
