Also it is confirmed that larger devil fruit users have a larger resistance to the sea (Blackbeard's giant among giants); so the ship might even be DF functional if large enough or has little enough of it in contact with the water. Worse comes to worse, give it a coating between it and the water.

I just had an idea about Kaido's possible bounty. We know that he has been captured many times, even by the marines, but they were unable to kill him, wouldn't it be possible that his bounty poster said "Only dead", since that'd be the only way they would be able to get rid of him?
Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I wouldn’t be surprised if the reward was crazy high too. The Marines would likely be willing to pay a very pretty penny to whoever could figure out how to kill Kaido when they couldn’t. I’m thinking Only Dead but in the 6-8 billion range.

Kind of off topic but I really hope there would be a "Shichibukai Pursuit arc" after the abolishment of the system. It would be so great to see all of them like this. It could be just a short arc like Reverie where you would see only certain scenes, not like whole story arcs. Something like a transition arc between Wano and whatever comes after, probably Elbaf.
yeah that would be awesome. Maybe after Wano we get 1 or 2 chapter of the strawhats traveling in the Sunny and then we seen 8/10 chapter of the marines hunting the shichibukai

To me the point where someone becomes a strawhat is once they serve some sort of purpose to the crew just like as pirates, not just like their personalities mix well but they actually do something. Like the moment where Jinbe became a crew member to me is when he started taking control of the helm and doing it in a way that none of the other crew members are capable of. Carrot has been on the boat for a while now, but she doesn't like DO anything that the rest of the crew can't already do she just kinda chills.
The government already claimed they captured the Roger Pirates so sending the appropriate force necessary to capture one of his crew members would probably call to much attention to it. If the rest of the world finds out that Roger wasn't actually caught by them it would tarnish their name so they just let them do as they please. That's why they also ignore Rayleigh even though he actively helps pirates get into the New World.

Hey tekking can you do a video on what race Magellan is? I know most people assume his wings and horns are just decorations. But when you look at his picture as a kid he still had short horns even back then, and I don't think his wings are decorations either. Because after the time skip we see Magellan scared up and we see his left horn now covered in metal, and his wing is put together by metal. If it was just decorations why wouldn't he just replace them instead of repair them. Main reason I bring this up is because I theorize king is the same race as whatever Magellan is.
I think Jinbe's bounty is too low. In the recent SBS Oda stated that pirates, who works under Yonkous has huge bounties, but Jinbe, who worked under Big Mom, is a former Warlord, who was in the Marineford war, still has a low bounty. In fact, he fought against Ace and still has a lower bounty. Sometimes these bounties numbers does not make any sense. Also, is obvious that he does not put these little infos in the story, that could be there with no problem, just to make more money. The little info I'm talking about is just, the bounty and if the character has or not a devil fruit. Like, when Galette, Mont D'or, Opera first appeared, what was the problem to add their DF names? Or when Jinbe appeared for the first time after the timeskip, why do not add his new bounty straight up?

only thing to refute that is why Oda hasn't put Going Merry in one of those spots yet. Why was Jinbei put in before her only about a year after breaking his ties with BM, yet GM hasn't been after all these years? No real reason Oda shouldn't have done so already...
I think the 11th member will be Carrot and that the former 12th member was the Going Merry but due to his death is no longer considered the 12th member and therefore considered by the Thousand Sunny as the new 12th member. The difference between Going Merry and Vivi is that Going Merry is dead while Vivi is still alive. I can not imagine that someone who is already dead, can not be replaced by anyone else, unless the person is still alive. In addition, ships are not crew members .
Whether or not we get another Strawhat depends on if the Sunny has the same Klabautermann as the Merry or not. If it does, I'd say they count as a single crew member, if they don't, I'd say counting them as separate crew members is fair. Considering the Episode of Merry showed the Merry's Klabautermann on the Sunny, I'm personally assuming both ships count as a single crew member, since that scene implies they share the same spirit. That means potentially one more crewmate! I also hope it's Carrot, though I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I think the biggest take away is that theories about 4,4,4 are true. And also glade that it's official that Jinbei is a crewmember, have been wanting that since around Marineford. And I remember just how much backlash there was willing h just the idea of that happening back then. But it ended up happening.
While Whitebeard never showed Conqueror's Haki during Marineford, there is the moment where Ace is about to be executed, and Luffy unconsciously unleashes a blast of Conqueror's to stop it. Right before Luffy does that and the executioners are about to start swinging we hear Whitebeard say something like "Do you really think I can't stop that." and then just as he's about to do something, his illness troubles him for a moment and he drops to a knee. I always took that to mean he was about to uses his own Conqueror's Haki to halt the executioners, but then his age and illness inconveniently acted up in that moment.
I think the Straw Hats will top out at 11. That way they'll be one opponent for each of the Blackbeard Pirares. As for who it will be, I think the answer will come when we learn the identity of the 10th Titanic Captain. I predict that either A) the 10th Captain will parallel the 11th Straw Hat so perfectly that it will give us an idea of who it will be, or B) the 10th Captain will parallel another Straw Hat so perfectly that all the others will start to line up and the one left over will give us the hint we need.
People forget that Blackbeard had 10 ship captain. He is paralleled to luffy crew in terms amount of people they both have. As well dream. They have opposite ideals of being pirate king.

Oda stated when the manga was in tot land that we would be getting multiple new straw hats. It might be a translation issue, but I thought he meant during the next major arc, aka Wano, we would get 2 or 3 at the same time. Jinbei was a given, and I'd argue that Carrot's status in the current saga is equivalent to Vivi's during the Alabasta saga. When Luffy found out that Sanji was getting married, he wasn't bothered, he said "oh, we're getting a new crew member" (I'm paraphrasing not quoting his reaction). I'm personally hopeful for Carrot and Pudding, but definitely expect Jinbei + at least one more new straw hat when the crew finally unites in Wano. Joyboy had a really god argument on why he thinks both Kaido and Big Mom will be defeated in this arc (he thinks Shanks will as well, I disagree), but that would be the perfect reason for Pudding to join. I'm hopeful, but even if not, I'm sure that we'll get at least one more than Jinbei, most likely Carrot, otherwise Oda just straight up lied. Not wrong about the timetable, just straight up intentionally told his fans something he knew he wouldn't do. Oda can troll and he can be cryptic, but he's not that much of a dick.

But it was ambiguous. It wasn't clear. He said something like, "I need to find one piece with a crew, 10 people should be enough" That 10 people including Luffy or not wasn't clear. But I think later on it was hinted that it was indeed 11 people, Luffy and 10 crewmates.

I want to know the names of all devil fruit powers we saw. I know it’s not natural for characters to always announce what devil fruit abilities they have or always have an info box. We usually find out about devil fruits in abs and data book. I think were about 200 devil fruits in the series so far. Not counting the filler devil fruits like the movies and filler episodes and what not. I only care about the main canon powers, the only exception is shiki’s power in strong world because he exists in the story. I hope he gets referenced about what happened to him!

About ace's conqueror's haki i think it didn't work because ace no longer have the motivation to become a conqueror. After becoming part of wb's crew his motivation shifted to making wb the pirate king. He even said it to luffy himself
There were indeed women fighting on Whitebeard’s side during Marineford it is just that none of his commanders are women. For example Whitey Bay the Ice Witch was a female fighting on Whitebeard’s side.
Allies to Whitebeard are not the same thing as people who are directly a part of his crew. Oda already said in the Vol. 76 SBS that Whitebeard left all women in his crew (that is, his nurses, since he refused to recruit women fighters) behind.
The biggest issue that is going to arise will happen if Vivi joins. "Does Nami, Robin or Vivi have the better breast in the crew?" (Not counting any girl from the alliance). Also, "Will Brook need to look at the panties again?"

1. It would take a MAJOR new development to convince Marine forces to go after Dadan. Attacks on other islands with notable Marine presence. Acquiring a devil fruit or other resource the Marines or their bosses want. Connections to wanted targets who actually HAVE Marine level bounties. Something to warrant an increased threat potential. And even then, it would have to be confirmed after a thorough investigation. 2. Higuma crossing lines Dadan wouldn't might have boosted his bounty. The lack of confirmed parental duties and regular visits from someone like Garp to keep him in line might also help. 3. Yeah, the spider ship sure sounds like a "pants to be darkened" moment. Still unsure if that would require killing Onigumo. 4. To be fair, that one non canon Nue fruit from the 20th anniversary festivities counts as a model of bird Zoan despite the lack of resemblance. Mixing that with the non canon "candy" logia versus Perospero and his actual candy paramecia, appearances don't always guarantee the name of a devil fruit will match. 5. Do any confirmed Conqueror Haki users besides Ace have self worth issues like his? Might connect to how little he used it.

Very good question and its not confirmed, its just my opinion. Since you obtain the abillities of a human, you should also obtain the life span, since its an actual human abillity to live longer than other life forces without even medicine, BUT that also means, human Characters who ate the zoan fruits and obtain animal/mythical creature's abillities respectively get also their life span, meaning that Kaido could become thousands of years old. So in that case i believe you do not obtain the life span. But still who knows except Oda himself since its his fiction xD, Thats was just my opinion logical speaking. ^_^

I can't wait to see Izo's past elaborated, as it is likely that his division was created last and most recently before the Marineford war. Like you theorized in your Whitebeard Division Commanders video, and from what we've seen fashion-wise with Kin'emon, Kanjuro and Momonosuke, it has been confirmed Izo is from Wano; what we don't know is when or how he joined the Whitebeard pirates (Maybe when Ace was in Amegasa village and learned to make Oars III's hat.), as it was very likely Izo broke the Isolationist policy by choosing to go with the pirates, just as Oden and his retainers did over 2 decades before. I get the feeling that if Marco refuses to show up to help NekoMamushi and the night guard fight at Wano, Izo will be the alliance's next best chance at getting help from the remnants of Whitebeard's HUGE ASS crew. I just had an idea about Kaido's possible bounty.
We know that he has been captured many times, even by the marines, but they were unable to kill him, wouldn't it be possible that his bounty poster said "Only dead", since that'd be the only way they would be able to get rid of him?
Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I wouldn’t be surprised if the reward was crazy high too. The Marines would likely be willing to pay a very pretty penny to whoever could figure out how to kill Kaido when they couldn’t.

Kind of off topic but I really hope there would be a "Shichibukai Pursuit arc" after the abolishment of the system. It would be so great to see all of them like this. To me the point where someone becomes a strawhat is once they serve some sort of purpose to the crew just like as pirates, not just like their personalities mix well but they actually do something. Like the moment where Jinbe became a crew member to me is when he started taking control of the helm and doing it in a way that none of the other crew members are capable of. Carrot has been on the boat for a while now, but she doesn't like DO anything that the rest of the crew can't already do she just kinda chills.

The government already claimed they captured the Roger Pirates so sending the appropriate force necessary to capture one of his crew members would probably call to much attention to it. If the rest of the world finds out that Roger wasn't actually caught by them it would tarnish their name so they just let them do as they please. That's why they also ignore Rayleigh even though he actively helps pirates get into the New World.

Hey tekking can you do a video on what race Magellan is? I know most people assume his wings and horns are just decorations. But when you look at his picture as a kid he still had short horns even back then, and I don't think his wings are decorations either. Because after the time skip we see Magellan scared up and we see his left horn now covered in metal, and his wing is put together by metal. If it was just decorations why wouldn't he just replace them instead of repair them. Main reason I bring this up is because I theorize king is the same race as whatever Magellan is.

I think Jinbe's bounty is too low. In the recent SBS Oda stated that pirates, who works under Yonkous has huge bounties, but Jinbe, who worked under Big Mom, is a former Warlord, who was in the Marineford war, still has a low bounty. In fact, he fought against Ace and still has a lower bounty. Sometimes these bounties numbers does not make any sense.
Also, is obvious that he does not put these little infos in the story, that could be there with no problem, just to make more money.
The little info I'm talking about is just, the bounty and if the character has or not a devil fruit. Like, when Galette, Mont D'or, Opera first appeared, what was the problem to add their DF names? Or when Jinbe appeared for the first time after the timeskip, why do not add his new bounty straight up?

I think the 11th member will be Carrot and that the former 12th member was the Going Merry but due to his death is no longer considered the 12th member and therefore considered by the Thousand Sunny as the new 12th member. The difference between Going Merry and Vivi is that Going Merry is dead while Vivi is still alive. I can not imagine that someone who is already dead, can not be replaced by anyone else, unless the person is still alive. In addition, ships are not crew members

Whether or not we get another Strawhat depends on if the Sunny has the same Klabautermann as the Merry or not. If it does, I'd say they count as a single crew member, if they don't, I'd say counting them as separate crew members is fair. Considering the Episode of Merry showed the Merry's Klabautermann on the Sunny, I'm personally assuming both ships count as a single crew member, since that scene implies they share the same spirit.
That means potentially one more crewmate! I also hope it's Carrot, though I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I think the biggest take away is that theories about 4,4,4 are true. And also glade that it's official that Jinbei is a crewmember, have been wanting that since around Marineford.
And I remember just how much backlash there was willing h just the idea of that happening back then. But it ended up happening.
While Whitebeard never showed Conqueror's Haki during Marineford, there is the moment where Ace is about to be executed, and Luffy unconsciously unleashes a blast of Conqueror's to stop it.
Right before Luffy does that and the executioners are about to start swinging we hear Whitebeard say something like "Do you really think I can't stop that." and then just as he's about to do something, his illness troubles him for a moment and he drops to a knee. I always took that to mean he was about to uses his own Conqueror's Haki to halt the executioners, but then his age and illness inconveniently acted up in that moment.

I think the Straw Hats will top out at 11. That way they'll be one opponent for each of the Blackbeard Pirares. As for who it will be, I think the answer will come when we learn the identity of the 10th Titanic Captain. I predict that either A) the 10th Captain will parallel the 11th Straw Hat so perfectly that it will give us an idea of who it will be, or B) the 10th Captain will parallel another Straw Hat so perfectly that all the others will start to line up and the one left over will give us the hint we need.

Oda stated when the manga was in tot land that we would be getting multiple new straw hats. It might be a translation issue, but I thought he meant during the next major arc, aka Wano, we would get 2 or 3 at the same time. Jinbei was a given, and I'd argue that Carrot's status in the current saga is equivalent to Vivi's during the Alabasta saga. When Luffy found out that Sanji was getting married, he wasn't bothered, he said "oh, we're getting a new crew member" (I'm paraphrasing not quoting his reaction). I'm personally hopeful for Carrot and Pudding, but definitely expect Jinbei + at least one more new straw hat when the crew finally unites in Wano. Joyboy had a really god argument on why he thinks both Kaido and Big Mom will be defeated in this arc (he thinks Shanks will as well, I disagree), but that would be the perfect reason for Pudding to join. I'm hopeful, but even if not, I'm sure that we'll get at least one more than Jinbei, most likely Carrot, otherwise Oda just straight up lied. Not wrong about the timetable, just straight up intentionally told his fans something he knew he wouldn't do. Oda can troll and he can be cryptic, but he's not that much of a dick.

I think the crew is gonna stick to Jimbe as the last to join. Not only because Luffy hasn't shown any interest in getting new members, but also because from a story point of view, as more and more characters are gonna show up, it will be that much harder to keep the focus on new members. Already it feels like some crew members are kept in the background without many highlights on them in a long time.

I want to know the names of all devil fruit powers we saw. I know it’s not natural for characters to always announce what devil fruit abilities they have or always have an info box. We usually find out about devil fruits in abs and data book. I think were about 200 devil fruits in the series so far. Not counting the filler devil fruits like the movies and filler episodes and what not. I only care about the main canon powers, the only exception is shiki’s power in strong world because he exists in the story. I hope he gets referenced about what happened to him!

About ace's conqueror's haki i think it didn't work because ace no longer have the motivation to become a conqueror. After becoming part of wb's crew his motivation shifted to making wb the pirate king. He even said it to luffy himself

1. It would take a MAJOR new development to convince Marine forces to go after Dadan. Attacks on other islands with notable Marine presence. Acquiring a devil fruit or other resource the Marines or their bosses want. Connections to wanted targets who actually HAVE Marine level bounties. Something to warrant an increased threat potential. And even then, it would have to be confirmed after a thorough investigation.
2. Higuma crossing lines Dadan wouldn't might have boosted his bounty. The lack of confirmed parental duties and regular visits from someone like Garp to keep him in line might also help.
3. Yeah, the spider ship sure sounds like a "pants to be darkened" moment. Still unsure if that would require killing Onigumo.
4. To be fair, that one non canon Nue fruit from the 20th anniversary festivities counts as a model of bird Zoan despite the lack of resemblance. Mixing that with the non canon "candy" logia versus Perospero and his actual candy paramecia, appearances don't always guarantee the name of a devil fruit will match.
5. Do any confirmed Conqueror Haki users besides Ace have self worth issues like his? Might connect to how little he used it.

Very good question and its not confirmed, its just my opinion.
Since you obtain the abillities of a human, you should also obtain the life span, since its an actual human abillity to live longer than other life forces without even medicine, BUT that also means, human Characters who ate the zoan fruits and obtain animal/mythical creature's abillities respectively get also their life span, meaning that Kaido could become thousands of years old. So in that case i believe you do not obtain the life span.
But still who knows except Oda himself since its his fiction xD,

I can't wait to see Izo's past elaborated, as it is likely that his division was created last and most recently before the Marineford war. Like you theorized in your Whitebeard Division Commanders video, and from what we've seen fashion-wise with Kin'emon, Kanjuro and Momonosuke, it has been confirmed Izo is from Wano; what we don't know is when or how he joined the Whitebeard pirates (Maybe when Ace was in Amegasa village and learned to make Oars III's hat.), as it was very likely Izo broke the Isolationist policy by choosing to go with the pirates, just as Oden and his retainers did over 2 decades before. I get the feeling that if Marco refuses to show up to help NekoMamushi and the night guard fight at Wano, Izo will be the alliance's next best chance at getting help from the remnants of Whitebeard's HUGE ASS crew.
