Arkansas Mopar Hoard Field Finds Rescue!

  • In January of 2022 I drove 9 hours to check out a hoard of Mopars. Some of the cars were legit barn finds, others were just sitting in fields. There was over a dozen cars total on the property. My friend Billy Harman worked a deal to rescue all but 4 cars total from the property. Which was really cool, it included the other videos in this series and one more that will be in a future installment.
Thank you to Dan Peacock, Jesse Heberling and Billy Harman for allowing me to document this cool find and especially Jesse for filling in the gaps after I left.
If you have any interest in purchasing anything of the barn finds or shed rescued cars, you can contact the owner Billy Harman on Facebook or by email (Billy@toonervillejct.com)

The old feller has collected all these parts and he's just letting them go to ruins. He doesn't seem like he's got much time to finish all these projects!

Nice finds. That 69 Cornet R/T convertible reminded me of my Uncle's 69 Cornet R/T hardtop 440 4 barrel automatic B5 Blue with a black vinyl top. He sold it in 2010. Man I miss that car. At least my Uncle kept his 70 Challenger R/T convertible 383 automatic car. He sold the Cornet R/T to build a 63 Fury Max Wedge clone car.

I knew a used car dealer like that. But he didn't keep all his stuff outside. Everything was Chrysler Plymouth Dodge late 60s early 70s and he had a complete little red truck 1979 that he had inside it was beautiful. He had a Chevrolet Malibu setup for drag racing cuz he never got a good title for it. He'd drive it but he had to put his Iowa dealers plate on it.
The gentleman that owns all of this seems to be a Mopar fan. Looking at what he has some of that stuff is still good he's got a whole rear clip on that convertible.

I wonder if people realize just how expensive it is to restore an automobile that is this far gone? Like really? Having done a running "E" body in early 2000 and being a mechanic myself (but not a body man) spent 65K.

Nice junk yard, the question is, when they are reassembled are the VIN #'s matching for the body's? If not , and when sold may cause legal problems with the D.O.T. and moter vehicle,. And the law, Getting a title may be an issue. Use caution when buying folks, I've seen ppl get jailed .. law thinking it was bought from a chop shop... doors, trunk lids frame and dash vin's not matching. Wrong parts from other vehicles installed. Just tossing caution to the wind.
