  • Filmed in my early videoing days at one of my favorite watching the trains go by locations in the UK....Norton bridge North of Stafford on the West Coast Mainline.
1993 and 1994 are the years , other locations seen are just south of he station ,whitemore and looking down on the line near Madeley featuring 87101 and an 866xx heading a northbound freightliner working.

Miss the sight of 86s and 87s. Must've been weird to look at a 323 in 1993 and to be thinking 'that one's new.'

We used to dub the 304s and 305s Madchesters in the 90s

Fantastic video. Brings back a lot of memories from when we lived in the North West and used to go spotting around Wigan/Warrington/Crewe. It was nice to see the old AC units......so often ignored.

Hey hey, another record of a Motorail with the vans on the back behind the loco! Love these compilations, we moved to Stafford from the NE when I was 8 in 1994 so these images are priceless now. Thanks :-)

Fantastic video Brian, the area no doubt will change soon once the new flyover and associated trackwork is installed
